🕑 Added 2022-06-23 19:35:26 +0000 UTCMore of The RA! We return to Spencer fresh on the heels of his discovery that the lovely and charming Savannah Grey, unbeknownst to him during their brief case of the smoochy woochies, has a boyfriend.
One of the kinda weird things about this story compared to my other school setting tales (TIOS, THaL, Tolerance/The Tolerant) is that the robust cast comes front-loaded, dozens of hot women right there from day 1. (OK, Day 2, technically, since Day 1 is just the brush with Dana and Dana's hot mom, but that was a short chapter!) I always liked, particularly in TIOS, having that on hand when we got to Jordan's sex ed class, a flimsy excuse to have Generic Hot Girl With A Personality Note or Two on hand for whatever a moment needed. Here, it does have that, but it's taking a little more to separate the wheat from the chaff. There's no Taylor humping Canon's lap over some chapstick [and long-repressed sexual urges harbored by both parties]. I think it's becoming clearer, but there's also an episodic nature to these that's a little more flavor of the weeky so I don't super object to minor characters getting a little more spotlight than beloved TIOS mainstays like Tamara Neal, who is a person who was mentioned at least once and then probably never again.
Anyway, probably of far more interest, I'm sharing with you a link to one of my side projects for The RA, which is collecting some artwork for our cast. Most of these should look familiar since I'm plucking them from Addiction's feed on the discord server, but we're not all hanging out there and those of us who are are not all cursed with eidetic memory. If you care enough to click through, I recommend having my The RA notes doc open for reminders of who's who. Not every named character has a portrait yet (and some probably never will), and not every portrait is yet assigned to a named character (that's those Z# ones, named to keep them clustered together and out of the way until the if/when they come into usage). You'll definitely recognize some of these faces.
Anyway, more to come, and thanks as always for your support! Can I just say, it feels really nice to have something to give to y'all to show how much I appreciate you? Felt like a long stretch of neglect here at the top, and it's good to be able to reciprocate.

j/k no one would ever even jokingly call Abbie flat I'm sure I've mentioned this before, but I like the day-in-the-life aspect of this story's momentum (or lack thereof). The personal-sized scale of the various conflicts and obstacles forges an immediate connection, and the successes are as besides the point as the failures. It's fun to spend time with a bunch of horny folks, and I have to keep reminding myself that this isn't already a confirmed harem. Another entertaining chapter!
