It's why she's the best non-Cassie girl in this franchise. Tabitha... not ever really my girl? First time through, I disliked her for threatening Taylor's spot. Second time through, I just... I don't know if it's even a little bit my fantasy, the Sex Ed of it all, and she seems like she'd be *exhausting* to spend time with. Tabitha is very far down my list of fav characters from THaL. But I did like this chapter, despite all that. Tabitha's soul-deep need to be recognized and judged is reliably hysterical in a stakes-free environment like this chapter, and Abbie's right to remind us all that Tabitha is a fun project, and maybe not much more. I don't want to be mean, but Tabitha Is In Another Country is maybe exactly what I wanted to see in a THaL follow-up.
