The Creep Ch. 04
🕑 Added 2021-08-30 21:03:57 +0000 UTCHey gang! Another 10,000 words of Creep for ya this fine Monday. Martin, Stacey, and now Naomi are off on increasingly zany adventures, with more on the horizon. Next up we'll get another HitH done, figure out what that wacky doc was doing at your house with poor Mo, and then check in on Cynthia and the double damage inflicted upon her tits. (Crits generally inflict double damage. That's the joke, my non-TTRPG friends.)
Aside, still feeling like I'm not quite getting the word count I want done, but at least I feel like I have a good handle on the why, and likewise feel like it's coming to an end sooner rather than later. Not having my glasses for sure doesn't help (having dropped them in a lake on my first ever kayaking expedition). My vision isn't too bad, but nearsighted enough to make everything a wee bit harder (and of course, no driving, so I'm basically grounded). Splitting attention and energy between three projects is not going great, but again, we'll have that under control soon. The move-in process is nearing completion, finally getting the garage full of boxes unloaded and/or tossed out. Baby-sitting my nephew is less temporary, but soon that will be the only other Responsibility on my plate, and I'll be in great shape. Not that I think I'm in bad shape, but I've been a few steps behind my aspirations for long enough now that I'm crabby over it.
Anyway, more to come, and more of more to come!

Hopefully today? I have a lot written atm, but this isn't one where chapters have a set end point. I think it's close though, so as long as it wraps itself up soon and I can edit quickly, yes!

Crazy good chapter. Really, really fun. We're getting more into the sexy parts of the narrative, as Stacey's getting more comfortable with Martin (which is somehow making her angry) and Naomi goes from frustrated to friendly to flirty to fucking in one chapter (which really should be making Martin suspicious). We haven't lost any of the charm of the story, these characters at overlapping cross-purposes (if I'm okay to make a term up), but now we've added substantially more plot and smut. A heady mix! I guess the other thing I want to bring up is how this story reads like "Ice Bear's Pan's 'Diet'", and I mean that as a compliment to both authors. There's some of the same hotness in here as in Diet, where it's all about incremental progress, all about verbal strategy. It's just - and I love both versions - this take on it is more empathetic, which sounds right to me. Diet is about achieving a goal, while The Creep is about trying to *understand* a goal. I love that there are these two equally-valid takes on similar material.

My favorite type of hypnosis smut is the one where the changes are progressive, where the subject is aware of the changes and reluctant. This hits that fantasy out of the park and then some. It's slow and methodical, sexy by being smart and insidious. Great work. It seems you've really hit your stride between this and Teaching Her a Lesson. I've been a fan of your since the beginning but it seems you've reached a sudden power spike.
