Discord, anyone?
🕑 Added 2020-10-13 09:26:21 +0000 UTCDishing out discord makes me feel like one of the Sterns. However in this case, I'm referring to the app, not the general cause of mayhem and disharmony. In this post, I'll explain what it is, how to access it, and what you can expect to find and what I hope you'll contribute.
So we now have a discord! For those who just want to dive in or who already know what to expect, here is an invite link with which to access it. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, discord is an app that creates a digital space for chatting and sharing media. It's a bit like a chatroom in the days of yore, but with a lot of streamlining, refinement, and modern conveniences. Chat, @ your friends/fellow fans, share media, share your own stuff if you're getting into the game yourself, or wage the war between Team Taylor and Team Tabitha. Basically a much improved version of what happens in my patreon post comments and on my community page.
Let me also be clear, and permit me to go the extra step and shout: NONE OF THIS WILL ALTER OR DIMINISH ANY OF YOUR PATREON BENEFITS. I will keep posting stories here, same as I always have. Absolutely none of your content will be shifted elsewhere. This is 100% an additional thing just for people who have fun with it.
The server, lovingly entitled The Ice Bear Cave, presently has four channels. One for general how-do-ya-do's; one for talk about my stories; one for media (say, you have an image in mind for what a character looks like); and one for other erotica, so if you want to talk about another author's story or share something of your own. I am very new to all this, so we'll adjust these channels according to what seems useful or necessary, but from research and feedback, this seemed like it'd cover most of it. The channels aren't straitjackets, so if you want to compare one of my stories to another author's, decide where you think it fits, no big.
At present, I don't have any of it tied to pledge levels. Partially, I don't want to push away people who want more engagement with my stuff. Also, I get countless emails notifying me of who has switched to what pledge level, and I don't have the energy to monitor when people adjust and tweak discord access. So for now, this is equal opportunity to all subscribers.
This is a first step. I am new to this, and I am sure I will learn things and refine the server's functionality as time passes. If there's something not working for you, send me a message or @ me and let me know and I'll see what I can do. For now, though, I hope I've made something that will make all the amazing engagement and banter that's been happening here easier and more robust. Once again, here's the link to the server. See you there!

I can never get that invite link to work. Should I take the hint?

Yes, Discord is a pretty interesting platform, well, at least just chat and exchange some useful information between the participants ... Thank you for clarifying all the details ...
