Commission: A Game of Skill
🕑 Added 2018-04-17 08:59:27 +0000 UTC Whew. So I'm finally back to posting. I went dog-sitting for a friend last week, and his pair of rescued pit bulls got into a fight. (Nothing against my friend and nothing against pit bulls; they were both just traumatized as pups and evidently this can happen.) In the process of breaking them up, I got myself nibbled on a bit -- nothing disfiguring or the like, but I had one hand swollen up like crazy while it was healing. So, for those of you who've long been yearning for me to write a totally smut-free story for you, there ya go.I did manage to get a couple pieces finished up for you, though, and another that I'll be done with soon. This one is a commissioned piece, centered on a guy who sits down to try to beat a female poker champ at her own game. Plus a twist or two. Canny readers will note my transparent lack of proficiency at poker; hopefully that won't dampen the experience.
Soon, I should have another one for you, one that's so silly I'm just giving it to the world (but early access for you wonderful folks), in which a horny middle schooler sets up a device to try to mind control his next door neighbor, but then both families move away and he forgets all about it. Shenanigans ensue. It's pretty dumb, but hopefully a fun kind of dumb. A legible draft should be done in the next few days.
In the meantime, however, enjoy!

Do you remember which? And I'll warn in advance that I have paper-thin self-esteem so if it's something I meant as a serious artistic expression I may have a total meltdown. That said, I'm curious.
One of my favorite stories of yours was the dumb kind of fun, so that's perfectly okay.
