“I don’t see why she’s so concerned about keeping it quiet,” Rachel folds the mirror away again, “She’s not working at Traders tonight. She can do what she wants in her free time.”
“Yeah, but I guess Phil’s her direct boss there again now and he and Walden don’t get on, that well, do they? And Kev says she doesn’t want Richmond finding out about her being with you before she’s had the chance to tell him herself,” I say, “At least not until your return to Traders is confirmed.”

“If you agree to Phil’s proposition of course,” I say and squeeze her thigh again.

“I’ll come up in a minute,” Rachel gestures me away with Huey then returns to chattering with Amanda.

“I’ll tell her where the new office is,” Amanda calls after us.
I follow Huey to the main stairs as he talks about the changes made to the dungeon in the basement too.
“So we might be having Rachel back here?” he peers over his shoulder at one point.
“She’s come to talk to Phil about it,” I say. The whole proposal sounds like the worst-kept secret ever.
“Before Phil lets the big man in on the news, eh?” Huey laughs and at the top of the stairs, on the mezzanine floor, he leads us in the other direction from the gloryholes. To what I think, used to be one of the storage rooms up here.
There’s a tall, bald guy standing outside like he’s waiting around for something or someone.
“Speaking of who,” Huey says to me and knocks on the door, “Richmond is why we’ve got this room too now. So he can get some privacy in his. When he needs it.”
“Yeah,” Phil calls from inside and Huey pushes the door open. I nod at the bald guy and follow Huey into the room.
The cramped office with three desks, several small chairs, and no windows bears no resemblance to Richmond’s spacious homage to the Sopranos. The dirty-blonde in long black boots who’s grinding herself on Phil’s lap with her black dress up to her waist and her fake tits out in his face is less of a surprise. It wouldn't surprise me either if Richmond insisted on a testing, private performance from Rachel and Sophie together pior to any potential 'launch' at Traders. Hey Tinto! Thanks for another banger of a chapter! I think it’s safe to say we’ve all been waiting for the mother/daughter duo to happen ever since it was first mentioned. I’m very curious to see how you would write that scenario. Can’t wait. It would be strange for Richmond to turn down that opportunity. Knowing him, he’ll probably pretend to resist despite his interest because of the scene caused by Rachel and Sophie. He’s the type of man who would allow it under certain conditions. One of which can be Joe has to wear a chastity cage. How poetically ironic it would be, wanting to watch Rachel and Sophie together, only to be denied release when the time comes. Another condition could be he wants to be the first one to try mother and daughter first. I can totally see Richmond pulling a stunt like this. I would love to her more from Spence and Grace! I love how you built their characters and storyline. I always thought their story was unfinished. Even though she has performed for Richmond and his group, we haven’t really seen her working there just yet. And it’s a plus that she resembles Scarlett Johansson. Love to envision her in more scenarios you put her in, in the near future! Haha

I'm glad you liked the chapter. Interesting to hear your positive comments about a single night/event being split over more than one episode. You're right. I haven't done it before in the 'Lanie' story, although I have in some of my ebooks. Originally the upcoming party which Rachel is attending for Walden was only going to be split over two chapters. One for her & Joe and the second from Kev's POV with Evie. But by the time I'd added the visit to see Phil the whole night took on a life of it's own and expanded. Hopefully this particular event can be concluded with just 2 more chapters, but I start editing the 1st drafts of the next couple tomorrow, so we'll see! I'm pretty sure you're right about Richmond's demands for any return. There's sure to be an additional pound or two of flesh to be shed first. I'm not referring to Rachel's weight concerns. I'm conscious that Grace & Spens haven't featured in the story so far and they are part of this universe - albeit still a relatively feldgling one.They'll appear again at some point, but there's a lot going in this world atm! ✍️

I share the same sentiments that others have said. This was a spectacular chapter! What I also appreciate is that you didn't try to jam the entire night into one chapter. I think it is a great idea to have a long night/event split up into multiple parts so you don't have to make shortcuts on the details. I believe this is the first big event in the series that will be split into multiple weeks, if I am not mistaken. Also, I do like all the Machiavellian power players between all the different bulls throughout the series. I can't wait for next week! As for some of the questions asked, I think Richmond shouldn't let Rachel and Joe off that easy. Richmond had high hopes for Rachel and then left, leaving Richmond high and dry. In a previous chapter, Richmond talks about being too easy on the couples. “Reading De Sade again after so long made me realize just how lenient I’d become over the years with the women in my life. And with their husbands." I think Richmond should demand more of a commitment from both Rachel and Joe especially when it is clear that both enjoy the lifestyle. I wouldn't mind hearing more from Grace and Spence since they are established characters in your Trader's universe. They seem to be more in the early stages of development in the hotwife lifestyle. I think Huey is essentially a novice as well.
