Words of comfort, and a request from me...
🕑 Added 2020-03-16 14:02:20 +0000 UTCIt’s scary times in the world right now with a virus running wild. And I know a lot of you, like me, are worried about what your life/country is going to look like over the next several weeks.
I want to encourage all of you to do your part in slowing the spread of this disease, by staying home. This is not the time to socialize, go to the cinema, go out to eat, and continue life as normal. This is a time when we have to be willing to look a little “crazy” in order to slow down the spread.
Now for the words of comfort:
If you stay inside, limit all physical contact with others and wash your hands regularly, resist touching your face... you will greatly reduce your risk. It’s going to get a little crazier in the world before it gets better, it just is. We have a big hump to get over. But we WILL get to the other side of that hump. We will. Things WILL simmer down, the virus will run its course, a vaccine WILL come, and life WILL go on.
Make self-quarantine as fun and sane as you can. Hole up and listen to your favorite ASMRtists. If you can, keep supporting them on Patreon through this. They are being warriors for the community by recording and releasing comforting content when they themselves are worried and needing comfort.
We are going to get through this. I will still be posting audios every week through this crisis, and I will still hold patron-wide script writing sessions as a fun means of escape for those of us who are self-quarantining. That reward will be available for ALL tier levels for the duration of this crisis. I will be here for my Tribe. In every way I can. I’m not going anywhere. I love you guys. Stay strong, stay positive, stay smart. -B

That’s exactly the right thing to do. Not everyone can stay home, so you just have to be as smart as possible. Wipe off surfaces before you touch them, sanitize often, don’t handle other people’s phones or personal property. Don’t touch your face. ❤️❤️

Wish I could work from home but at the moment I can not, but at work I am taking as much pro caution as I can. But I’m an introvert so on my down time I’m at home away from everyone.
