I actually have a related question. Back in Chapter 1, the narration bubbles were them in the future reminiscing, so I’ve been curious about when we’d catch up to the narrator’s present. The last page had narration in the present tense—does that mean we’ve finally reached the present from the narrator’s perspective? Or do the narration bubbles not all take place during the same conversation/time? If that makes sense

Oh, my gosh! I was not expecting another page this soon! But this makes me so happy; the suspense was really killing me. I’m so glad Lincoln and Lynn are choosing to follow their hearts. I’m sure they would’ve liked to have their parents and the rest of their sisters involved in their happy ending, but it was just not in the cards they were dealt. And it’s unfortunate, but as I’ve said in previous comments, this love of theirs is worth fighting for. Lincoln and Lynn will have their happily ever after, one way or the other. I’ll be very curious to see how Lincoln and Lynn say goodbye to their family in their letter. But of course, there had to be that one individual to happen upon them this late at night. I suppose Lily is the better option than some of their other sisters or their parents, though. It’s just one more hurdle for Lincoln and Lynn to leap over before they make their break for freedom. But it’s not going to be an easy one. Now comes the tricky part, because while Lily may not understand the reasons why her older brother and sister fell in love with each other, she will come to understand that this may be the last time she ever sees Lincoln and Lynn in the flesh. And the harsh reality that the Loud House will very soon be a little less loud is surely going to affect them all.

Being homeless is never easy but it will bring at least some sense of adventure for Lynn and Lincoln. I would love to see a montage of them hitchhiking to towns, meeting new people along the way, surviving on fast food, and camping in a later chapter.
