Ooh, Lincoln, you smooth, silver-tongued operator - look at Lynn blushing and biting her lip. He can tell she still feels the same way, even after all this time. And the way Lincoln took her hand and placed it on his heart… it was almost like he was saying my heart is yours, Lynn. That was a stroke of genius; there was just so much truth in that gesture. I really can’t imagine that Lynn will turn Lincoln down a second time. All this time, she’s been encouraging him to fight for what he believes in, even if it was for an impossible love. Well, here he is, ready and willing to lay it all on the line for her. But if Lynn can’t even take her own advice… well, I, for one, don’t think the hypocrite label looks good on her. And I’m sure Lincoln would feel the same way. Besides, it was already hard enough for Lincoln and Lynn to deal with heartbreak and disappointment the first time around, following the prom. I just don’t think their hearts could take it if they reopen old wounds again.
