I just hope that Rita and Lynn can tell those two why they can’t love each other like a regular couple. I think they’re taking their sibling connection they have and trying to force it into a boyfriend girlfriend thing.

That's why I'm hoping you won't do that. If the Loud family in here is anything like in the show, there'll be some way they'll still love each other and not lead to anything like disowning them. There'll be some kind of happy ending, we know that, but we're wondering is it going to be a bittersweet ending.

If I had to make an educated guess, worst case scenario: Lola will spit in Lincoln and Lynn's faces. Lana won't bear to look at them. Luan will say something like, "You two disgust me." Lily won't understand. Lisa won't be able to make sense of it even with her big brain. Lucy will be the only one who will talk to them and accept them as family. Best case scenario: They somehow understand and accept them. Only time and UnderratedHero will tell and show us what the outcome will be.

I appreciate the measured response from Rita, I mean its probably denial more than anything but its still very kind. An good on the 2 of them for standing up for what they have. I know things are probably about to go south real fast but I still find both sides of this discussion sweet in their own way.

While they didn't expect a confrontation to come so soon, and it blindsided them to get to this point through a stupid mistake, they've both been rehearsing this scenario in their heads for so long. They don't have a script, but they know what their parents (or anyone else) might think, so they're trying to counter any objection preemptively. "It's real, we know it. We tried to ignore it, but it didn't work. We love each other like you do. Yes, it's weird, but it's still real. No, this doesn't have to change anything." Emotions are brewing on both sides tho, so no one knows what will happen next.

It’s almost laughable at this point to see Rita try to fool herself into thinking that this is all still just a big misunderstanding. But at this point, honesty really is the best policy for Lincoln and Lynn to take. It was so heart-wrenching to see Lincoln and Lynn pour their hearts out, chronicling how they both tried so hard to remain siblings, but failed in the end. The struggle in their hearts was real; the tension was thick and unbearable; the misery was complete and utter agony. I just felt sad when Lynn tried to reason that her and Lincoln’s romantic relationship didn’t have to change anything – it’s almost defeating to see how wrong she will be. Because honestly, a small part of me wanted so bad to hope that Rita and Lynn Sr. would be convinced by their children’s honest approach. But deep down, I know the storm is still brewing and dark clouds are rearing their ugly heads in. And once the lightning strikes, both sides are going to suffer the fallout. However, I absolutely love the united front Lincoln and Lynn put on in front of their parents. Even though I’m sure they suspect Rita and Lynn Sr. still won’t be on board with this development, it really warms my heart to see how Lincoln and Lynn will not back down or be intimidated. No matter what, they’re prepared to fight for and defend this love of theirs to the end. You just can’t help but admire that kind of commitment and loyalty.
