I’m hoping UnderratedHero will surprise us. Lincoln was brave enough to convince Lynn to start this relationship by going after her. So, I’m hoping that Lynn will be brave enough to try and keep the relationship. Maybe they’ll do something crazy like run away together. I don’t know. Just something.

I can almost hear the pleading tone in Lynn Sr.’s voice when he poses that question. It was like another way of him saying, “Please tell us what that Mountie said was not true.” And for one fleeting moment, I felt sorry for Lynn Sr. and Rita. Because no matter how much they try to keep an open mind, they are obviously not prepared for the bombshell their children are about to drop on them. I’m sure Lincoln and Lynn knew, deep down, they couldn’t hide their relationship from the family forever. I’m also sure they wish the reveal could’ve been done on their own terms. Because even the Man with the Plan knows there’s no explanation he or Lynn could give that will either preserve their secrecy or make their parents believe this is all just a big mistake. That Mountie’s testimony is just too damning.
