Thought you might like to know, since you picked up on it so well: the original script had Lando die in the Death Star explosion (I actually have a copy of that page from the original script and storyboard), but it was changed at the last minute for being too much of a downer ending.

You ask toward the end, "Is it safe to say that the Rebels have won?" If you want an answer to this, Chuck Wendig's excellent canon novel, Aftermath, contains it. It's the first in a trilogy, which also contains a fleshed out role for Yupe Tashu, one of the weirdos in robes in the Emperor's throne room.

After seeing these reactions I got online and purchased the Theatrical Release of the Original Star Wars Trilogy. These Videos are wonderful, but I do lament that for most of the world what I experienced as a child is lost.

Haha at the end. "Wait, who's that guy??" Exactly. Changing Anakin to his younger version is one of the very worst of all the special edition changes.

Feels like christmas every time you upload something, thank you sooo much. The Ewoks were supposed to be Wookies, but they didn't have the budget for lots of Wookie costumes. So they shrunked the Wookies. And then they sold teddy bears.
