It's always bittersweet to watch Harris Wittels be an absolute genius. A few years ago, I walked into my parents' bedroom and saw his book, Humblebrag, on my mom's bedside table. I was shocked that she would even know about it and found out that her friend Carol is his aunt. Carol lent her the book, which I don't think she ever read before giving it back. How many other great words would Harris have gotten in the dictionary if he was still with us?

The two Animal Control guys are among my very favorite continuing characters in the series. They're always high as a kite, but totally pleasant and smiling. (The shorter one was one of the writers for the series.)
