Dad Reacts to Lady Gaga - MAYHEM

sus

Is the killa melody “I know you gonna die tonight” sound like that one part of Shake Your Groove Thing

sus

Never did I expect a Trisha Paytas Shallow reference on this pod let’s gooooo

Abigail East

I think the similar melody you are thinking of to Killah is Cuff It by Beyoncé! “We getting fucked up tonighhhtt”

rocketno9

Omg great reactionnnnn! Would love to see you guys react to ARTPOP or BTW! Including this album they are my holy Gaga trinity!

Austin

If they reacted to ARTPOP I would literally die, such a good album and I know that that they would love it so much. If either of you are seeing this PLEASE take it into consideration!

zoudain

CHROMATICA IS ESSENTIAL

losangelescrone

PLEASE give us the divine privilege of watching Kevin react to Aura, G.U.Y., Sexxx Dreams, Donatella, etc. !!! Not only do I know he will love ARTPOP but I have dreamed about this

Austin

Chromatica or artpop please!! I would love to see what you both think about artpop if you haven't already listened to it!

carsonrissotbb

off topic as hell but y'all need to do Preachers Daughter before the sequel comes out. Super unique beautiful album your dad needs to hear!!!

Marian

also the Trisha paytas shallow cover- i see u Connor lmao

Marian

Kevin! You are a little monster (creature) in my eyes!! Lol

A

BORN THIS WAY & CHROMATICA

A

YES! Also it might be the album that would interest Dad the most because it’s heavier and industrial 🤩

Gail Kreimer

i thought 'die with a smile' was really ok when it came out, but the opening lyric "i just woke up from a dream" positions it nicely as an end to the mayhem. 'blade of grass' has closer energy but you can still feel the mayhem in it, the mayhem isnt over. 'die w a smile' is the happy ending

Alexander Walker

Track 1 — No male backup vocals on Disease, she's singing an octave down, it's giving contralto /// Track 3 —her fiancee is a billionaire in tech/cancer treatment! /// Don't Call Tonight — she did a track with Nile Rodgers on a Chic album a couple years ago and she said oh THIS is a sound I need (which I couldn't be happier about)

Ryan

can we get mercurial world by mag bay?!

Sidney Ramon

REACT TO CHANGES BY Justin Beiber!!

Anthony Fisher

Can't believe we got Gesaffelstein producing on a Lady Gaga album.

Manos Ioannidis

Prefect illusion has an exceptional key change while signing and it’s AWESOME! Great video guys! Take a listen to Joanne. Extremely underrated and amazing album! ❤️

gigi

ARTPOP NEXT!!!! 🫶

Gillvest M.

Oh yall gonna love Artpop. To most Little Monster, we consider it her BEST album. It was controversial too. Hard hitting, chaotic, and just bangers after bangers.

Wes

“It sounds like gibberish but it’s shit”

Andrew

NOO you'll learn to love The Beast trust. It's such a good change. Also I subscribed to watch this video and it DID NOT disappoint this album is so good 😩

☎️

An ARTPOP or Born This Way reaction would go hard! Also, the Dawn of Chromatica remix album had the Charli remix and a bunch of artists like that (Arca. Shygirl, etc.) so it would be fun to react to! :)

The Gr8 Scott

Also I see it up there, when are you guys doing Art Angels 😭

frankie

so happy to finally be here after watching on yt for so long!! after Mayhem ive found myself going back to rewatch all of her videos and seeking the feelings i had when The Fame came out in 2009. just extremely iconic in every way and i second all the sentiments made here :)

Henry Fraser

Have you guys ever considered post Malone discog? Stoney and BB&B are very good!

michaelsmalz

So glad you two reacted to this! Do Chromatica or Born This Way next!

Bella Vasquez

Kevin requesting Grigio Girls as the test track solidified that he has top tier music taste. Period.

Fabio Knies Filho

thanK you

Chris Barr

Would love to see a reaction to the Disease music video 😍 loved the video guys thank you 🖤

𝔍𝔒𝔖𝔈𝔓ℌ

Trishas cover is so camp

Deandre Knight

ARTPOP next…

Guilherme Konrath

In Abracadabra's lyric, she says "in her tongue she said, death or love tonight" and in the middle of the spell she said "Amor and Morta" portuguese words for Love and Death. So me as a brazilian lisening was a mindfuck the first time! I am absolutly in love with this album <3

Milana Weddemire

I think you guys almost certainly have to do artpop. I like mayhem; there are some skips for me...im thinking that this album is a grower for sure. but artpop is my favorite gaga era. alooot of raw energy and alot more in your face than mayhem which i think you both will like.

The Gr8 Scott

I could listen to like 20 more minutes of that Matcha story, to be honest, haha

Myndmelt Gaming

My wife and I are watching now and loving the reaction! Artpop

Chris

Food & Liquor Lupe reaction pls ):

Daniel Pearson

I think you should check out James Marriotts music, he has 1 album rn but his 2nd comes out this year with 2 singles out rn. He’s another YouTuber but don’t let that turn you off cause his music is actually class it’s really good rock music and I think you’ll love it.

Alex G

Totally unrelated to Gaga but i just had the thought that you guys gotta do Ready to Die by Biggie

Jack Shaver

Ok Killah is definitely Music For A Sushi Restaurant by Harry Styles. Timestamp around 1:30. That’s what I hear.

KFCimon

Have you thought about doing Parcels? I think Kevin will love Day/Night, especially because of the Bee Gees and Daft Punk influences.

Aidan L

Killah reminds me so much of Prince

Chandler Martin

She needs to do a music video or something for Killah/Zombieboy. Those deserve to be hits.

Kailey D

Gaga just has immaculate inspirations she pulls from here: Nine Inch Nails, Bowie, Prince, Michael Jackson, etc, but most importantly herself!! She’s Mother Monster! I’ve seen her live 3 times and I just know Mayhem Ball is going to be INSANE 😭 I hope you guys get to go see her live!

Sultan Abul

Would love to see you react to Tems and to Raye 👍😃

Foxy

The Grammys*

tvojeprezuvky

Agreed! What's Your Pleasure and That! Feels Good are both excellent.

tvojeprezuvky

Knew you would enjoy the funky stuff on this record. I'm highly interested to see Kevin's reaction to ARTPOP. To me it's peak Gaga. btw Severance finale was insane!

Kelsee Kimbrough

the trisha paytas comment omg i'm cracking up just thinking about it lmao

Rachel Harshbarger

pls do artpop!! <3

Rein

I would love to watch you guys listen to artpop 🩷

Dylan V

I know you two are both ‘happy brunettes (& joyful dudes)’, but I think ‘For Melancholy Brunette’s (& sad women)’ by Japanese Breakfast would be a sick reaction. 10 songs 32 minutes and really beautiful 💕

VibeWithDal

Still advocating for Empathogen well actually Ceremonial Contrafact by WILLOW … I’ll be patient

Hays Fischer

i was waiting to fully listen to the album because i wanted to listen with someone!! not sure if it has been said, but Lady Gaga actually had the music video of Abracadabra during the Super Bowl as a commercial and that was the official release of that song! super smart strategy!

purplelinks

enjoyed that !

William LaJoie

first listen im locking in

Fabio Capelao

You have to react to born this way

TTT

Found it !! Very cool !!! - K

TTT

So awesome!! I am looking for the video now :)

flyngdutchmn

Also based off of your videos so far I know y’all would love the Shea Butter Baby album by Ari Lennox. It’s an insanely silky and tasty no skip record I HIGHLY recommend!

David H

Severance ending almost killed me

David H

Chromatica and Joanne are both excellent

Kayla Deyo

to answer your question at the end, Gaga and Bruno Mars performed a cover of California dreamin at the grammys, in honor/support of the victims of the LA wildfires.

Noah Garcia

Do more Gaga!

David H

Vanish Into You has a ton of lyrical parallels with Tony Bennett’s music, I like to listen to it as a tribute to him

Jake

the way I only follow you and Trisha on Patreon…. the Trisha mention is insane

Julia Scott

I know you both are from Van and I grew up in Chilliwack (real close by) and Gaga toured the Born This Way tour in 2013. She came to Vancouver on January 11th 2013 (my 18th birthday!) and SANG ME HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! I was front and centre in GA wearing a birthday slash and she pointed me out and sang to me. My best friend recorded it and there’s other POVs still on YouTube. I’ve always been a massive fan and around that time was experiencing some pretty intense bullying, making it a very special, uplifting concert for me ❤️

Jakob Sundström

Trust me, you will love ”kent”, fantastic swedish nirvana type band, recomend ”isola”. That album has version that is english!!!

Broom

Omg I would die for an ARTPOP reaction

TTT

❤️

haley 🧸

would have died to see kevin’s reaction to trisha paytas shallow HAHAHA love to see a gaga reaction!! this album is fantastic

flyngdutchmn

Thank you guys for making your patreon affordable, always putting out good videos, and interacting. My morning has been made seeing this album reaction pop up. Y’all will always have a supporter in me 🖤

Marcus

Killah line reminded me of the scat singing in Music for a sushi restaurant!

Lauren

Trisha’s cover of shallow lmaoo

TTT

Wow she is so versatile! - K

Jess R.

Yessss!!! I’ve been waiting!! 🖤

Ruan Lucas

I knew your father would like Killah and Shadow of a Man, they are masterpieces. I made sure to become a supporter to see your reaction. Thank you, keep up the good work as always

Afonso Monteiro

this album is really something special

Afonso Monteiro

Kieran Hindmarch

venjimusic

Afonso Monteiro

OH YES I am so excited for this!!

Isaac Sargent

Seconding this! Jessie is one of the best in the biz

calum

i know exactly what trisha paytas video connor is referencing 😭😭

Zay

I would want to see Kevin listen to born this way! Chromatica is a house dance record. I love it but not Gaga’s best lyrics

Spencer Vu

Pls do more gaga albums 🙂‍↕️

Josie Aspinwall

aahhh i was hoping you'd listen to this!! glad to hear connor is an artpop fan! i neeeeed to see your reaction to what's your pleasure by jessie ware, i just know you'll love it 😩🧎‍♀️

Niko Gonzalez

next gaga album should definitely be Born This Way. Her best work in my opinion

lea

should def react to chromatica it is amazing and different then this album, but mayhem is probably my favorite!

Niko Gonzalez

that’s actually gaga in the background with a lower register speaking not a male voice

George

10/10 hair game from both parties today, go forth with confidence

Niko Gonzalez

LITTLE CREATURE IS CRAZY

Emily Pollock

So stoked that I hopped onto Patreon for How I'm Feeling Now and getting rewarded with Mayhem now! You guys rule

Alissa Winslow

Everyone shut up, my favorite show is on. 🏃‍♀️

Robbie

Abracadabra music video plssss

TTT

lol - K

Lucas Simoes

you guys should really check out her performance of Abracadabra and Killah on SNL she absolutely killed it!

Elena

still waiting on everything is Love by Bey and Jay-Z

Amanda

In Killah, that line you were repeating reminded me of the chorus in Bang Bang (Jessie J).

Lucas Vega

Craig Ross
