Awgie ٩( 'ω' )و

The quarter pounder with cheese line got me good

JJ Fiction

Did y’all ever do the Popeyes vlog?

Mia Murrieta

Please react to a Flatbush Zombies album or Gothic Luxury!

aaronmassei🪲

literally just had that same thing with girlfreind, never knew it was written by paul. made it even better

John Angelone

The grimy voice before Mac on piñata is Meechy Darko of Flatbush Zombies, their project BetterOffDead if worth a listen!

Andrew Lodge

Harold’s is good asf but they’re all franchises so you have to go to the right one, they’re almost all in Chicago. The one in la sucks. I prefer the shrimp to the chicken

luke

you guys have to listen to a Flatbush zombies album after seeing Kevin's reaction to meechy darko on pinata.

P

classic, so glad you guys covered this one! can't wait for the Earl reactions that Connor mentioned (really hoping for I Don't Like Shit)

Alex

need this!!!

Brandon

Yes

johnnnyy

left of Kevin's head? is Nilüfer Yanya's new album My Method Actor

johnnnyy

I see that Bright Future vinyl peeking out from behind Kevin, yall gotta react to that album, it was one of the best of 2024

Ryan Carroll

I was excited to watch Kevin’s reaction to Meechy Darko on this song. I knew he’d love Meechys voice lol. He’s apart of a group called Flatbush Zombies based out of NYC. I’d check them out Kevin.

Matas Valiūnas

Watch a video of Freddie Gibbs & Clairo performing ‘Crime Pays’ live, it's phenomenal

Brandon

What is that album on the shelf on the left...feel like I've seen the cover somewhere and it's bugging the shit outta me

Kacey Romero

Domo genesis album reaction would be great, his newest with Evidence production or throwback with Alchemist production man such a consistent talent

Matt Sharp

Horrendous take lmao

Noah Alexander

Please react to boy by 2hollis 🙏🙏🙏

Matt Sharp

Big L reaction would be amazing. Also the Toni Braxton line totally makes sense. He’s saying the girls HE’S got are so attractive that by comparison they make Toni Braxton (considered usually very attractive) look like Whoopie (not considered conventionally attractive)

Lindsay

Love you guys so glad you finally did Freddie! Gotta do Pray for Paris next

Lindsay

This is an objectively terrible take lol

Hmm idk

You guys need to react to Natural Brown Prom Queen by Sudan Archives! Such a great alternative R/B album. I think you would love it

Devin Shaw

Haven't even watched yet but this is literally my favorite rap album ever, so excited!

Big Moist

Great reaction guys! Bandana is a must listen and I gotta recommend either Price of Tea in China or Bo Jackson by Boldy James and Alchemist!

bxgtrxppy

We need the Better Off Dead by Flatbush Zombies reaction!! 🔥🔥

kennygk

You should do Fetti by Alchemist, Freddie, and Curren$y! And yes more Griselda!! Some Conway, Westside (HxH Side A) and maybe even Boldy 👀👀

Daiidokoro

Been waiting for a Freddie Gibbs reaction, truly a slept on legend right now

Jag Lambert

We need Lodpad by big L on the pod

Diego Arias

Yesssss

Jaime Yamat

Need more griselda

Timon Ungar

Please do the Freddie Gibbs & Madlib Tiny Desk =)

Ian C

Broken has an incredible beat! Wonderful Reaction per usual!

Ian C

Listen to Chronic 2001 by Dr. Dre trust

Ben Pickering

he is talented

kennygk

Right Arm Extension joke by Kevin is crazy 😂 so funny

Je Ows

Gibbs sucks imo. Basically simple thug rap that for some reason people claim is abstract or artistic because he gets "creative" producers to produce his albums.

Jay Malik

YOU GUYS NEED TO CHECK OUT BOY BY 2hollis!!!!!

Nate

Modal Soul needs to happen!

Tapes

also if he loved meechy's voice you guys should do 3001: A Laced Odyssey by Flatbush Zombies!!

Diego Arias

Can yall react to nujabes i think your dad would really like him. He really pioneers the lo fi sound

Diego Arias

So excited for this reaction going to make dinner and throw it on

Tapes

OMG IMAGINE IF UR DAD REACTED TO BIG L 95 FREESTYLE OR 98 FREESTYLE!!!! YOU GUYS SHOULD DO THAT!!! OR EVEN REACT TO LIFESTYLEZ OV DA POOR AND DANGEROUS!!! PLZZZ!!! (also still waiting for innerspeaker by tame impala)

TTT

Wow - K

Tom Stoneman

Incredible album! Went to a festival in London last year which was supposed to be Erykah Badu heading and also Madlib was there doing a dj set but on the day Erykah cancelled so there was no headliner, Madlib calls Freddie Gibbs who’s at Heathrow airport because they had been doing 10th anniversary of this album tour dates the day before - Freddie Gibbs comes back to headline the night alongside Madlib and they just do the whole album through - fucking incredible night, although not sure the Erykah badu fans were digging it quite as much as me lollll

Sam Panfil

I think juxtaposition was the word you where looking for

Alex treib

Absolute masterpiece of an album!! So excited to see your reaction Kevin!!

Lachlan kyle

finally subscribed to the patreon to see this one early, good stuff

Sam Panfil

been waiting for this one, Uno has one of my favorite beats of all time

Raya

And it’s one of the best tracks. CONNOR PLS. Dont do what you did with “Spiteful Chant” 😭

Mr. Bigweld

Gotta do the og mixtape though the streaming is missing “G Tearz”

Andy O'Toole

Play any song by “Rich Love” he is the scat rapper from Baltimore

Cian Gilmour

great reaction again boys! loved it. Would be so excited to see a bandana reaction as a wee sequel to this

Billy Thompson

Watch scareface tiny desk!!!

Amir Yousefizada

Great album. Brings me back to when me and my friends finished elementary school and the summertime. I always thought he was holding a blunt in the album cover haha.

Jake Grogins

not spreadie

Jake Grogins

didnt love this album as much as everyone else but the productions so fun. shitsville is great. would love to hear jid on a madlib project

trick dice

What a classic! Freddie and Odd Future came up at the same time in LA and were friends, probably through Mac. They had the same type of humor and Freddie was even on their show Loiter Squad like ten years ago.

Fidelí

Bandana is a must do!

Cian Gilmour

fantastic album. just beautiful production and i stand on this but freddie gotta be one the best rappers out rn

Xavier

Love joining you guys for the CHEERS! Each week. My favourite corner of the internet ✌️

yustin

one of my fav rap albums ever thankssss

Hmm idk

Finallyy!!🙏

Miles

Freddie was rapping like rent was due on this album. It really felt like it was make or break for him and he was on fire.

Jay Malik

been waiting for this one

Chris Malinowski

Also could we PLEASEEE do some more pusha t? Its Almost Dry is an amazing album from 2022 with kanye & pharrell production Then the clipse albums lord willin & hell hath no fury. Its the same coke rap content that Freddie is known for with classic hip hop production. PLEASE GUYS I NEED THAT SHIT

Chris Malinowski

Yesss for sure

Chris Malinowski

Meechy darko is part of the group “flatbush zombies” if kevin is interested, he could do a solo reaction to his solo album from 2023 “gothic luxury” or Flatbush zombie albums like betteroffdead or 3001 a laced odyssey. He is an incredible vocalist

Jack Simms

Highly recommend Flatbush Zombies, the group that Meechy Darko is a part of

Raya

Great reaction. If you want more meechy darko, Flatbush zombies’ Better Off Dead is a classic mixtape now on streaming services. Came out in 2013 I think.

Sage_Mode_Q

Please I second this! FNL is much needed.

Aidan LaBianca

Robes clicked with me instantly when first listening to this album. The production is amazing.

TTT

iPad ! Wow - K

Fidelí

Our prayers have been answered! still need NERD In Search Of… 🙏🏼

Cam

Kevin liking the Earl verse is a sign to do more Earl soon🙏🏾

Chris Malinowski

Insane i listened to freddies pinata a few hours ago and legit checked if yall had a reaction for it up yet and was like damn hope they do it soon. Then this pops up as im about to go to bed 🤣 Boutta make a snack and enjoy this, thanks!

Michael Bear

I love this album, so excited for this one <3

Connor Gallinetti

Jesus! What a treat - can’t wait to re-listen with you guys!

marshie

you guys gotta listen to the new freddie gibbs album, youre gonna love the production its all straight out of an anderson paak album

DrBeats

It blows me away that Madlib is making most of these beats on an iPad. Maybe not the entirety of Piñata, but by Bandana he was saying thats all he’s using in interviews.

Steven Pawlowski

Your dad’s reaction to meechy darko on the title track deserves a Flatbush zombies reaction. Better off dead he would love to pieces.

Southside 609

One of the greatest hip hop albums of all time. I stand by that.

marshie

this made me resubscribe, hell yeah

coupe de loop

i watched freddie live last year with madlib for their piñata 10th anniversary, they played through nearly the whole album n nothing else but honestly i was more than happy with that!
