b/c it's just not good, its not worth a reaction just for kev to dislike most of the songs; besides with his current public standing i doubt they would want to react to kanye rn

I remember many people were commenting to listen to vultures(i was one of them). Not sure why you decided to ignore them

I just lost one of my best friends yesterday, and came to this to just reminisce a little and clear my head. Remember hits different right now than I’ve ever heard it. And Kevin around 1:40 when you started talking about life and being mindful, you don’t know how needed the timing was. I’ve been watching since you guys started going through the Mac discography, and the way you guys connect and share the feeling I get when I listen to Mac is second to none, and the willingness to listen to your son and come together, it would be a really cool thing to do with my dad. You guys are doing an awesome thing and I’m so thankful you record it and share the real time reactions with us. It’s always nice to find someone that loves Mac as much as me, and it’s been a real fun journey to tune in to. God bless and continue the growth. Excited to see what you guys do. 🙏🏼

Objects in the mirror is actually about drugs guys. "Just a little taste and you know she got you". One of his best projects nonetheless. :)

Kevin's "life" monologue really hit me. life goes so fast sometimes that I forget to revel in it all. thanks for the reminder <3

hilarious hearing you talk about crafting an iced London fog, former sbux here to say brew half a cup of Earl Gray, double strength for five minutes, then add an equal amount of ice to chill and dilute your tea concentrate. shouldn't take more than ten minutes total, you don't need to chill it overnight.

Brendan Pederson

Since your dad loved objects in the mirror you guys should react to this https://youtu.be/9Gbl-IDp1qc?si=j7PDQYAk8vQlT2rs

Gabriel Veillet

BEEN WAITING FOR THIS

shatter1523

Super stoked for Kevin’s 12 song Mac album!

Cody Vaught

Loaded lux is a legendary battle rapper. It’s super dope Mac got him on the track

Toya Mcglothen

Please listen to Docheiis new album!

Pat

You guys gotta listen to Jay Electronica and Jay Z collab album A Written Testimony!!!!

Kai

Shame that genius was playing up as would’ve loved to hear you guys reaction & talk about when you guys found out Objects in the Mirror is about his relationship with drugs. When you realise it hits you that it’s one of his best written songs. ‘You never taught me how to heal the pain, wish you’d caught me on a different day when it wasn’t so difficult to be happy’ is the line that stands out when you find out.

Jordan Kapele

I’m sorry did I just hear Kevin with the Big KRIT mention in that last minute?! 👀

Landon

Audio quality was waaaaaay better guys, glad you made the switch!

Stephen Rodriguez

Or check out exhibit c for singles

Dom D

Top 15 Connor?? Objects in the mirror has to be top 3 Mac man. Song is timeless

Stephen Rodriguez

On “Objects in the Mirror”, I think you guys, especially Kevin, would really enjoy this live version (with the internet as a backing band) from the space migration sessions. Here is a link https://youtu.be/9Gbl-IDp1qc?si=obK5MAfxGJXf97hj Not sure if you guys mention this later on. Thanks for the video!

Khalid van D

Yes same, volume is extremely low.

Nic S

Fuck yea good looks boys cant wait to watch

Jake Frederick

ya same here

marco

Is it me or do these Patreon vids seem so low with the volume ? I tend to blast my headphones tho so idk if it’s just me.

Charlie Cantrell

Also I'm from West Virginia so when I heard R.E.Member I was excited but also sad about his friend

Charlie Cantrell

Flying Lotus & Clams Casino were doing great things in the 10's era. Clams produced Angels off of Macadelic. One of my favorites. You should definitely put your dad on Doris for Earl. I'm not sure his self titled album is appropriate for youtube. Maybe that would be ideal for just us patreon goers hahaha

Tyler Maddux

My best friend Jacob really loved this album and was waiting for this reaction. RIP Jacob. Thinking of you while watching this made me tear up ❤️ Thanks guys

TTT

It's up Nic - Kevin

Its up Franco!!

Mew (@whatwouldmewdo)

Mac and Future? Show your dad "Earth"!

Bradley Mitchell

So happy to see this! Have you heard of an artist from the UK called Casisdead? His long awaited debut album 'Famous last words' is incredible. Fantastic story teller and fully deserves his flowers.

Kaleeb Smalls

Youforia was my wife and I’s song we walked down the isle to at our wedding

Evan M

Thank you guys for doing this!! Also, thank you Kevin for your wisdom this episode. I loved what you shared about taking time to appreciate the birds and slow down. I also appreciated what you said about life. Appreciate every drop of water and how lucky we are to be where we are. Some days it’s harder than others, but there’s always something to be thankful for. I could be way off here, but I feel like in an old reaction you had referenced a book that helped you. I think it was a “what I learned from…” self help book. Again, I could be way off so I apologize, but the book seemed interesting! Thanks again for getting me excited about music I already love, much love

Gabeee

Doechii has a new rap albumm u neeed to listen to

Daniel Pooley

The Alchemist produced Red Dot Music FYI, thought it was funny you mentioned him at the end there. Youforia hits me pretty hard in the feels, surprised you guys aren't big on it. I agree it probably didn't need to be the closer though.

Jake Spencer

Hey, Would you ever show your dad Doodling In The Key of C Sharp by Mac?

Dirt McGirt

Can you guys please do SRS or the Jay Electronica x Jay-Z album "A Written Testimony"? Please get Jay Electronica on the channel

Brennan Sawyer

Hey, could you guys react to a Joji album for my upcoming birthday. Nectar and Ballads 1 are amazing projects to experience and i think it would be a unique kind of sound for you dad to listen to.

Matthew

Ive been waiting for this for literal years. my favorite mac album

Isaiah Walker

Hi! Great video — As someone who's diving into the world of audiophiles, particularly with a focus on hip hop and R&B, I'm curious about how you approach EQ settings. Any tips on how to optimise the sound for these genres? I'm especially interested in how you balance the bass, mids, and highs. Thanks for continuing to put out such amazing content

linsii

i would highly recommend anyone who likes objects in the mirror check out the live version mac did with the internet for the space migration sessions. easy to find on youtube. that specific performance of the song has gotten me through a lot of rough times

Kacey Romero

While I agree that youforias instrumental is kinda of a miss, man oh man if you have time listen to the live version on YouTube that he put together with his piano playing is gorgeous. https://youtu.be/g2nGn5GcfYQ?si=R6Skmt7Y17ljwlVZ Forever one of my favorites

Nic S

Mag bay please!!

Rowan Jauch

YESSS IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE

Endy lol

Rip to your friend

JOSH RAMOS

LETS GOOOO

Ryan Turko

IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!!!

Holden Watkins

I prayed for times like this 🙌🏼

emerson

A Magdalena Bay reaction and my life would be complete!! love y’all so much

Braden Ghilani

Also not showing Kevin the original star room at the end is criminal

Ryan Thurber

This is my favorite Mac Miller album at the moment - super excited to see how Kevin reacts on first listen. I don't know if they do the bonus tracks here- if they don't I really hope they do. The bonus tracks on the deluxe of this album are amazing.

MrEnjoi20

This is exactly what I needed today how did you guys know?!?!? I was about to rewatch the other Mac reactions again, but I saw this pop up and INSTANTLY got so happy

Lofton

Ella

Yay!!!

Tyler Rodrigues

Could not wait for this review! Red Dot Music was produced by the Alchemist actually which makes sense why the drums are so good.

Cherise

So glad y’all finally did this album. The Jay Electronica talk made me chuckle. If you listen to anything by him it should be Exhibit C. Mainly because his work is very limited. He really only has two projects (a mixtape that’s a 15min track rapping over the score to Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and a joint album with Jay-Z) with almost two decades between the two. Everybody in hip-hop just knew this man was going to be the next one up but he’s allergic to dropping music

Braden Ghilani

The fact I just finished watching BeardMeatsFood finish the cookie challenge before watching this and then Kevin talk about it was a crossover I was not expecting

yaretzy

also one of my favorite mac albums 🫶🏻 the doubt in religion, coping with the loss of a friend, and all human experience guided through a experimental high-like sound is such a great concept

yaretzy

asking for SUBMARINE by THE MARIAS x23

Gage Smith

FINALLY! It feels like I've been waiting years for this

Sultan Abul

Would love to see a Tems or Shaboozey reaction

Matheus Henrique

Would looove to see a Magdalena Bay reaction

George Chavez

Summer 2013 was a great summer for music

Nate C.

Been waiting for this one hell yeah!! Also on the topic of moody albums, I think I Don’t Like Shit, I Don’t Go Outside would be a perfect gloomy winter day album to listen to from Earl

Austin Stewart

Shed a tear watching Kevin hear Objects in the Mirror for the first time

Isaiah Torres

Kevins bird story is something ive learned too as ive grown up, im only 20 but yk i find that just taking some time to just... look, and see what's around you. Its beautiful.

purplelinks

huge thank u for showing me mac miller , i was so ignorant

sebastian

i’ve always loved this album. rip mac. coming up on 6 years this september can’t wait for you guys to get to the magdalena bay reaction

purplelinks

thank and peace to both of you (=

Dylan

Would love to see the new Magdalena Bay record!

Kacey Romero

“Jewish Buddhist consumin’ the views of Christianity”

Kacey Romero

One of my favorite things about this albums is the fact that you can feel his interest and dive into religion and how it has affected his world view and perspective. Being 10 when this album came out and not understanding certain lines, and being the same age as he was when he dropped it while diving back into it for the anniversary opened my eyes. Great album for those coming of adulthood aged kids who also became fascinated with how religion runs the world.

Dion Byrne

Objects in the Mirror is about drugs I'm pretty sure

Dominic Merritt

Also with the ten year anniversary vinyl it comes with explanations for every song written by Mac it’s very cool

Wilber Flores

LETSSSSS GOOOOOOOOO! This album brings back so many memories for me.

Tazkeys

Truthfully its right there with woods and to me its the final track of mac's legacy. Right is great as well

Anthony melito

Such a beautiful album. Been waiting for this one for so long so happy that yall are reacting to this!

Anthony melito

I agree, floating is a beautiful track

Succumiya

So sad there’s only a bit more Mac left for you guys to cover but glad yall are covering this album!

Franco Graubard

in all seriousness, i know you two are busy and have a schedule, i just think that Imaginal Disk is a moment in music for 2024 you two can’t miss

Franco Graubard

day 10 of wondering if Magdalena Bay will make an appearance, hope is starting to dwindle

Grant McMillan

This is the greatest day of my life

Dominic Merritt

Perfect timing I just got done reading “ most dope”by Paul cantor. It’s a bio about Mac’s life and struggles and fame leading up too his passing I recommend reading or listening too it an amazing book. 93 to infinity!
