New here! Based on yalls reaction to the second half of this album, I highly recommend Victoria Monet and Teyana Taylor. Still do Doja tooo!

Erika'stoes

You should listen to Aurora

Cody Vaught

Kendrick says get top on the phone

Cody Vaught

Stoic as in Stoic Beats?

Miranda Harvey

i think y'all would LOVE doechii's tinydesk performance!!! it's one of the best i've ever seen, and she has an all Black female band which is so special <3

Canada🤍

You guys should listen to lucky daye “algorithm” you would love the guitar and drums🙏🏽

Jacob Winterton

She won the Grammy yall

Tylan Rudger

Finished watching this and then went to check if you guys had done any Smino reactions. Kevin did a solo reaction to Luv 4 rent earlier this year and was introduced to Doechii who is featured on Pro Freak, I totally forgot she was featured on there and has a fantastic verse. I don’t think it was mentioned in this vid and if Kevin made the connection or not but the coincidence was funny. This is my first comment on the patreon lol. Love from Alaska 🫶

Logan Maxwell

Does WAIT kinda sound like Unpretty-TLC or is it just me?

Jon Scanlon

Heavy debut vibes of Nicki on Kanye’s with this album (in parts). 👏

Camila Alvarez

I have been waiting on this reaction for so longgggg!!!! So happy to see you two finally diving into the magic of Doechii. Very quickly earned a spot in my top 3 albums of the year, despite being a "mixtape". An absolutely incredible and honest rap project, which felt especially refreshing given the context of rap music in general this year. Tysm for reacting!!

Yeab

I’ve watched this video like 5x, love this album and your reaction! Also I think “denial is a river” might be a reference to a Wendy Williams clip lmaoo because the other woman Doechii talks about is actually a guy and the full Wendy William quote is “denial is a river in Egypt, your husband is gay!”

Antaeus Guillaume

Dad was grooving to "Beverly Hills". I love that song too! Great reaction, guys. ❤️

Will Wright

REACT TO GAGA ALBUMS

James Taylor

Stephen Rodriguez

Y’all gotta complete the TDE roster and listen to Cilvia demo by Isaiah rashad

YESSSS YOU SHOULD DO A DOJA RECORD doja is the blueprint and doechii is a result of that

flyngdutchmn

i see how much you guys loved beverly hills, i HIGLY recommend you guys check out the Shea Butter Baby by Ari Lennox album. no skips in my opinion. btw this mixtape by doechii takes the cake for fave project in a verrrry long time.

Ashley Alvarez

Kendrick does indeed say BOTH on untitled 02. Get God on the phone, and then further in he says Get Top on the phone. Doechii definitely referencing K.Dot. Joined just for this reaction! Thank you!

beatamina

To me, this album sounds a lot like Luv 4 Rent by Smino, please give it a listen guys, i think you're going to like it a lot.

Maya

Joined patreon for this. I love Doechii, she’s such a refreshing artist. And if you loved this you’ll definitely love Doja cat’s scarlet album.

Allison DeGerlia

Majody

Big fan of yours from Montreal! I would love to see a reaction of the older The 1975 albums. Much love to you guys!

Vincenzo

Loved this album, also always thought the TikTok song she was referring to was “What it is” which is a completely different sound than this project

Bianey

So dope!!! This was my first listen too, loved it so much. Also, I too learned Slob on My Knob when I was like 9 😭😂😂 it’s a canon event I fear

hector!

kevin looks like colin farrell

Quentin Walker

It was get God and get Top. Crazy bar all of TDE uses

Hmm idk

You should do busta rhymes- the coming! Great dilla production on that album 🤌🏽

Sam Gill

Shoe slipper - Reebok Beatniks soooo good… Kev loving the fit.

ProRenae

You should check out the earlier songs/videos on Doechii's page. "What It Is" was Doechii's breakthrough radio hit. She references it in the 1st verse of "Boom Bap". I recommend watching the video ( the version w/ OUT Kodak Black's verse). The video also showcases her dancing abilities.

José Pablo Marín Villalobos

you should try listening to some music in spanish! I think you would really enjoy El Madrileño by C Tangana or Un Verano Sin Ti by Bad Bunny since you both enjoyed his voice on the gorillaz song

allen

Blessed be the name I’m so fucking happy y’all reacted to this much love and also shoutout to Elizabeth for leading the charge

Elijah

sav

Kevin’s Feet from twitter

Kendrick does say get top on the phone on untitled unmastered as well as get god on the phone

Abi

Love using the analogy of Florida heat/humidity for the various arcs of the album!

Jack Shaver

So glad you reacted to this one because I don’t think I’d have listened to it otherwise. I get a lot of my new music from you both and it has helped me expand my tastes. Hope y’all are doing well. Once again recommending Lizzy McAlpine (Older).

James

Another day praying for Hypochondriac by Brakence 🙏

calum

Daniel Pearson

Wowwww this is a great reaction. Love the connection between you two. I highly recommend you react to Sam fenders albums. They are incredible rock albums. I think you love him

Derrick Johnson Jr.

kendrick does say “get top on the phone” a few times on the untitled song, you’re not mistaken lol

SP

Kevin might not remember this from the Luv 4 Rent stream but Doechii was featured on Pro Freak! Her verse was a highlight. Hope you cover more Smino too

Rohan Phang

This is the best thing to happen to music in the last 3 years. love to you both

Madeleine Odette

I saw her in Paris and the album sounds even better live !

JackV21

are yall gonna do the new Cure album?

kelly

You know who else was on Chromakopia? Willow. This is my 1000th time requesting Empathogen. Not to be annoying, but to just keep her on your radar. She is also a Grammy nominated artist this year and (my personal) album of the year. For whatever that's worth! Doechii is so insanely talented. She sings, she raps, she dances and acts (and does it all well) ! Just incredible. Also, as a Florida girlie who grew up seeing alligators climbing fences in her backyard, I understand the trepidation but they aren't like...roaming inside the local Target or anything lmao Also, boiled peanuts are a snack that corner stores sell in the south.
