Post "Dad Reacts to Tyler The Creator - CHROMAKOPIA" by "turningthetables"

VibeWithDal

Good morning ! Im listening on my drive into work and was reminded to remind you all to listen to WILLOW!!!! 😂

Jatin K

Have you guys heard of the Dissect Podcast? If not, you would love the host Cole. A joint podcast with you two and him discussing Tyler, Kendrick, doechii and other recent music would be iconic. You all appreciate and respect music to a level beyond most on the internet

Makayla Cotton

Yall should react to the music video for noid

Bianey

Rewatching this and I have to request WOLF again 🥹🥹🥹 the story telling, vulnerability, and dope beats are THERE. 11 years later and it’s still my favorite Tyler album. Please please please pleeeease 🥹🥹🥹🥹 I just knowwwww Kevin will like it

Billy Shuler

Love me some cowgirl

sylasas

yes

Annette Morales

Definitely recommend Daniel Caesar!! His latest album Never Enough or Freudian would be a good intro to his music :)

Gabs Tony Peronoganem

Do a Motomami - Rosalía reaction! Such a great spanish album

Caitlin Harris

I agree!!!! You guys would LOVEEEE rina

Claudio Audio

Yeah!! I think it’s mainly because of this: Tyler is my favorite artist and when a new album comes uit I go and sit down for it with my headphones in a dark room and just focus on the music, which makes it a way more intense experience and enables me to feel each and every sound, I also think it’s because I could remotely relate to the lyrics (looking like your father when you try not to be like him) and i thought this line was beautiful: “I would never judge you, because everything worked out without him”

Mason

Yall need to go back to Wolf

bella

you two absolutely need to check out doechii's album!!

Cody Vaught

I saw some went back on Spotify

Cody Vaught

Y’all should do the Doechii album. She’s a tde member. Just got nominated for three Grammys I believe

Cody Vaught

That’s awesome. Thanks!

the tizz3uzez

Ik yall are swamped with records since this has been a bountiful month of music, but ever since yall listened to maps I'd love to see more billy woods. I'd recommend hiding places or known unknowns next❤️

TTT

Every in you life ? - K

TTT

He wont be doing that again !! - K

TTT

Bob and his family came to visit us for a few days. We did a Twitch stream and had a few dinners together. Absolutely lovely family ❤ - Kev

Hmm idk

Please do James Blakes - Assume Form. My favorite album by him🙏

Austin Stewart

Silkk da shocka had sample/copyright issues or something. Hopefully back up soon

Cody Vaught

Why he take it down? I loved that album

Cody Vaught

You guys know Bob haha I love that cross over

calumorsomething

she was also in the recent john wick movie and was on the soundtrack for it! she will be acting as akira again in the future movies

calumorsomething

please listen to one of RINA SAWAYAMAs albums! she is so underrated and has a song on her albums that everyone will enjoy. SAWAYAMA was her debut album and she mixed genres, every track being different. HOLD THE GIRL was her second album and it is more palatable and less experimental. please react to one if you have the chance! i truly think you would enjoy

Justin

Phil Elverum as Mount Eerie has been cooking up landmark indie rock / folk albums for 2 decades and a few days ago he just put out one of his best ever works imo, called Night Palace. It is not too big a diversion from the sort of rock you guys already covered. It really is competing with mag bay for AOTY

Justice Parman

You two would love the new Doechii album.

Kurtis Magallanes

Would love to see you guys react to some Rex Orange County. Such an influential artist in my life and is super personal to me. Also crazy that Tyler found him when he had as little as >20 views on youtube. Rex is insanely talented and has such an effortless voice and cadence over really smooth instrumentals ranging from rock to bedroom pop. His albums are all relatively short listens but pack a punch in the time they keep you for. My two favorite albums of his are ‘Apricot Princess’ and ‘Who Cares?’. also this tyler reaction was so good much love to you guys

David

Please consider returning to The Weeknd's discography before Hurry Up Tomorrow. I'd love to see you guys finish the other two Trilogy mixtapes, or listen to Kiss Land or Starboy.

Claudio Audio

also who puts sprouts on sandwiches are you okay

Claudio Audio

like him was the first song ever to make me cry, isn’t that crazy

Austin Stewart

The Suns Tirade since it got taken off streaming services. We miss it and need it and it’s a masterpiece. Please.

John Vargas

Such a good album

Andrew Lodge

Please do never enough by Daniel Caesar, Harry styles by Harry styles, Atavista by gambino, endless cdq by Frank

Gregory

Please do Bastard/Goblin/Wolf

Casey

I agree. I suggest NERD “Seeing Sounds”!! It’ll make sense who Tyler is heavily influenced by.

Mother Urias

Please listen to Daniel ceaser

Cam

Watching this three days late but I heard Kevin hint about doing monster by future👀 need that soon pleaseeeee

yellowflannel

Great to hear, thanks! :)

shaw

hello! After this i recomend hopping into daniel caesar's latest NEVER ENOUGH.

TEC66 _

Idk if you guys have heard of The Koreatown Oddity, but he has an amazing rap story telling album with some experimental beats called "Little Dominiques Nosebleed"

Alyssa

kevin mentioned maybe doing willow soon i really hope you guys can listen to it here soon the production is amazing she’s in the same vein as tyler imo

levi_lk

"Daniel Caesar shivers up my ass" lmao gets me every time

Henry Lindstrom

How much do I have to pay you guys for your dad to react to Port Antonio by J cole. I’ll Venmo yall

Samjay

WOO

Evan Bertrand

are you guys into metal/rock? i’d love to see what Kevin would think of the Take Me Back To Eden album from Sleep Token. they’re fantastic genre blenders.

Evan Bertrand

today i learned Connor is 29, i thought he was like 24 same as me lmao

Tim Crawford

Pleaaaseeeeeee do Doechii’s latest album it is amazing you both will love it

Nate Hadi

Honestly believe that ‘Like Him’ is Tyler’s best record to date

benjamin van as

I vouch

Nate Hadi

Y’all need to listen to Freudian by Daniel Caesar. Phenomenal rnb record.

Owen Helias

You should do a Pharrell episode since you mentioned him, either greatest hits or a NERD album

Isaiah Muhammad

Definitely should do doechi latest project alligator bites never heal

TTT

I tend to do that on albums I know (Connor) but when it’s a first listen for the both of us, we have no idea the flow of the album so it’s a lot more difficult to do

TTT

filming a rock video next, not the cure album, but we are gonna be covering it, as my dad is a cure fan, so will be cool to experience it together

Joonas Puuppo

If I remember right Kevin did a solo reaction to Freudian at some point, I think it may have been a live stream. The recording is probably still available if you do some digging in the Patreon feed.

yellowflannel

Please react to new The Cure - they came back with new album after 16 years and it's freaking great. Top 3 the Cure, on par with Pornography(Disintegration is still my favourite). Since there is lack of rock oriented albums on the channel in the past months then I think this could be refreshing reaction, especially when album is that good. Thanks for considering. https://rateyourmusic.com/release/album/the-cure/songs-of-a-lost-world/

allen

please the love of everything that is good in this world react to doechiis alligator bites never heal truly the best album of the year, also you guys are amazing

Ben.D

On Aussie bands, you guys should listen to ocean Alley, lime cordiale, ball park music and king stingray. Really really good Aussie bands

kelly

forever asking for empathogen by willow, who was also backing vocals on noid

Jabar Singletary

It's genuinely insane how crazy this man's discography is

legumegorl

yilly

Lauren Walsh

Phuncc

I feel like the last verse on mask off is definitely just to himself but if it is also directed at someone else I think it's gotta be Ye

Myles

Doechii’s album is amazing you guys will love it! Got an endorsement from Kendrick himself on Instagram

Alex Fodor

You guys should react to "Wolf" definitely Tyler's most underrated album and his first artistic breakthrough imo

Tali

Thank you guys for this one ❤️ This is an amazing reaction!

sebastian

happy halloween guys

Andrew Lodge

But he left it off as to “not be put in a box”

Andrew Lodge

One thing I didn’t hear commented on is this is his first project at least in a while without a multi part track 10, however, there is a second part to the track on the physical releases it’s tomorrow / mother.

Krystopher Coville

Good stuff 🔥

CRASHkennedy2000

Hope I win. 🤞

Zodiac Hater

Now you guys need to do alligator bites never heal by Doechii immediately. She’s one of the best rn

Zach

my favorite sexual position is when you guys react to mos def black on both sides :(

Owen

Best read too. You guys rlly make the albums sound better

kai

also i was one of the people who bought tickets to cfg as they dropped and dude they sold out within the hour LOL

Tobias Theglev

I’m pretty sure they create the beats around the samples - same with Kanye.

WukongChef

Doechii had one of the best verses on the album imo

Ben Gelfand

PLEASE DO DOECHII's ALBUM

Remy Bilodeau

Please give us the Doechii Album 🥺🥺

ADI1992

The second half of Sticky uses the beat from an old Young Buck song called Get Buck which I’ve always thought was 🔥

TTT

PO Box in the USA

White Magnolia

how did you guys get the box sets? I wanted to get one but it said it was us shipping only 😭

Oakley Brown

🔥 reaction as usual! Alligator bites never heal has gotten a lot of listening this year, great project, definitely give it a go!

misderic

My buddies and I went to Camp Flog Gnaw in 2019 and everyone thought Frank was gonna be the surprise headliner. Turned out to be Drake and he got booed off stage cause everyone was disappointed. That crowd knew what was coming 😂😂😂

David H

It’s getting stickkyyyyyyy

kai

not sure if you guys saw when kendrick brought out tyler for his ken & friends show but his presence was really undeniable the city loves him. The crowd was going crazy

shaw

reallyyy did they just pause after the lyrics stop- the transitions are almost necessary omg

Jerome Loyd

soooo reminiscent of pharrell, i loved it

Daryll Verstraeten

yall really shouldve let tracks play into eachother more tbh.

STF

LYFESTYLE YEAT

haley jean

also seconding everyone saying WOLF! that was the album that got me into Tyler. IFHY was life changing to 13 y/o me HAHAHA

haley jean

ra tah tah on repeat truly 🔁 🔁 🔁

Kameel

Please listen to The Great Impersonator from Halsey, incredibly emotional album

Kepuha Quinene

Yes! This album reminds me of Mr. Morale so much. Not the sound or anything but the personal topics and different perspectives being presented through the songs. Tyler did not disappoint.

Jackson

anyone else hear the Pharrell in Darling, I? The tongue clicking sounds just like Drop It Like It’s Hot.

Ana Martinez

I KILLED YOU IS ABOUT HAIR AND THE HISTORY BEHIND BLACK PEOPLE HAIR

Jada Tucker

Her mixtape is unreal

Jada Tucker

Doechii!!

dillpickle 55

Can I enter into the giveaway early? 😭 great video you guys

otinauj

i’d love a wolf reaction especially with the new perspective on tyler’s life, i listened to answer yesterday and it sounded so much sadder.

Bianey

WOLF has to be next 😭😭😭😭 Also, in my experience for Outside Lands music festival in SF, they will sell “eager beaver” tickets before the lineup is released at a cheaper price!

Stephen Rodriguez

Doechii album is definitely one of the best rap albums of the year imo

James

This album is so good. You guys definitely have to listen to the Doechii album.

Weston Titus

once again recommending I Disagree - Poppy. incredible mix of pop and metal/rock music, i think you guys would love the genre-bending going on. one of my favorite albums of the decade

Samuel Torres

Are you gonna react to new freddie gibbs that drops friday

Holden Watkins

I knew your dad was going to LOVE this album, also go mariners babyyyy

FyBhi

Are you going to react to Eternal Atake 2?

Aidan LaBianca

really hope you guys consider doing a daniel caesar album. every album he’s dropped has been amazing and I know for a fact Kevin would love everything about him.

Dave Mohan

WOLF NEXT PLEASE

karl

You should show your dad the other Fontaines D.C projects! Especially A Heros death!!

lankystreamofpiss

my favourite sex position is the one where i lie on my stomach with my face in the pillow and sob

Tim Dale

I could be wrong with this take but a cornucopia is a symbol of abundance and nourishment. Most if not all of the album is about his abundance (due to fame from his music) and the consequences from the abundance and nourishment (wealth).

Wilber Flores

You should show him Bastard or Goblin just because I feel like it’s important to see what he used to be on lol

calum

This is my first tyler project and i’m so beyond excited to go back and fall in love with his discography…. Also day 3 of asking for the doechii mixtape reaction ;) you boys are killing it!

yilly

this cover & the first song reminds me sooooooo much of MUSE’s Drones. anyone else?!?!?!?

Jonne Eskelinen

Kinda unrelated to This reaction, I think you should react to 99,9% by kaytranada!

Tyler Kloster

I freaked when i saw she had a feature on the tyler album

BrownieTroop59

THE SECOND COMING OF THE OG: THE RHINESTONE COWBOY

K Warfield

I think it would be really cool to go back and show your dad the Odd Future Oldies video. I showed my girlfriend after listening to this album and she was so shocked seeing young Tyler, Frank, Syd, Earl and everyone doing their thing, especially knowing where they are now.

Tyler Kloster

kevin is dripped in this video

Paul Gonzales

Thank yall again for another amazing reaction 🙏

Ben Dillon

gonna be listening to this whole album for months man

Jade Stiglic

Kevin’s fit is immaculate in this

purplelinks

yes sir ! right on time :]

Jayden Younger

The new Doechii mixtape is a must listen! I've seen a lot of people saying its their AOTY, keen to know what you guys think of it

Sam Panfil

Check out doechii’s mixtape that came out this year it’s worth it.

Briana Padilla

Love this album sm already

Dylan Humphrey

They missed the absolutely generational transition from Rah Tah Tah to Noid

Roberttt

cornucoooopia

Jesus Flores

FINALLY GETTING AN ALLIGATOR BITES NEVER HEAL REACTION??

Jack Shaver

So glad you reacted to this one so soon. I was kinda curious how long you’d wait. Glad Connor’s finally back so y’all could do this. Once again recommending Lizzy Mcalpine.

Preston Eastridge

I’m glad you noticed the similarities with Mr. Morale. Tyler has said before that he loves that record so he was definitely inspired by it. Loved how personal he was in this one.

Brandt Scheppers

I love how you referred to analyzing the lyrics as “going bob” lmao 42:55

James Nash

HIGHLY reccomend the doechii album

Uncle Tito

Excited to see this reaction! Been listening to this album nonstop since release

Dawson Hook

George Greene

Just bought the pattern just to watch this, album of the decade in my opinion and I’m stoked to see you guys react

Glockdookie

You guys are 263 days late on vultures 1

Skyler Frost

An absolutely fantastic album, so glad to see your guys’s reaction. It’d be nice if at some point you reacted to Joji, super talented guy!

Quincy Pierre

kevin needs to react to ken carson. yall are amazing

TTT

❤ much love to you Tyler - K

Tyler Maddux

One of the best parts about getting new albums is getting the notification of one of your videos reacting to it. Especially with how shitty life has been lately I really appreciate you guys. Love you both and can’t wait to watch

Sam Jarrett

Tyler is on an incredible run

purpl

also i appreciate being your final twitter reply for awhile

purpl

I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS

Hunter Busselberg

Love seeing new releases of artists that Connor has shown Kevin over the years

xero 😵‍💫

I loved the sequencing for this album and the production/features itself. A 10/10 Tyler record for me and its been on repeat since release so thank you for posting the reaction 🙏

Kaleb

Hey connor and kevin, I’d love to see you guys react to my favorite album “A Sailor’s Guide to Earth” by Sturgill Simpson! It is a great blend of genres created by a man with a unique and passionate voice. If you have never heard of him I definitely recommend looking up his backstory! If you can find the time I highly recommend. Thanks so much
