i tried listening to this a while back when it came out, and i wasn’t ready for it. holy shit was i wrong. texas blue; is one of my favorite songs now.
CJ Wilson
i believe the scrapyard name comes from the fact that these were leftovers
Bea Stewart
kevin saying he loves stripped back quad immediately before guide dog lol
Branon Guiles
Thank you guys for holding to your promise, and doing this album. It’s been the soundtrack to my very eventful year. Most notably moving a state over, away from my family, for work. So I’ve formed a personal connection to pretty much every song. You guys are my fav reaction channel and this is one of my fav projects of all time, so this video was peak for me. Would love to see Quad come on the pod, probably after his new album would make the most sense. Much love from Utah!❤️
Hunter Busselberg
Would love to see you guys react to 100 gecs
yoMatt
hey logic whatcha doing man. youre sexy

Hypochondriac album reaction is a need, not a want
Kisiel
please listen to new beth gibbons. I haven't see any folk record on the channel and this one is very good, my album of the year. her name might sound familiar and it's because she was the singer of portished
Kim Le
i knew kevin would like guide dog😭 i remember listening to it for the first time and i immediately wanted his reaction to it
Kim Le
yall gotta check out brakence’s hypochondriac album. trust me u both will love it - such a great album!!
TTT
❤️
CRASHkennedy2000
Crying because of the lost didn’t mean to haunt you reaction 😭
ajanim
i honestly think the context that worlds gives to nurture is equally important, though you don't necessarily need to listen to the album to get the gist of "porter took a years-long hiatus to rekindle his relationship with art" lol. i would still love a worlds reaction at some point though
ajanim
you gotta listen to his previous album i didnt mean to haunt you, way more conceptual and ambient but the story it tells is genuinely heartbreaking and beautifully articulated
Mitch Castagna
Please

lmao yup it’s happening, i also did not mean similarly as in sonic’s. just in scope and hype, willing to bet this album is an even more different and even more of a leap from his current work

Recently listened to this project like 2 days ago. It has become my favorite project this year. The sound is so experimental and vibrant, the music makes you feel vulnerable. THIS is music
johnnnyy
such a cool project. I'm suggesting Ryan Beatty's latest record Ribbons to yall to listen to, I think Kevin would love the lyrics on it and it's such a beautiful album
Private Tristan Bongo
the textures on this one will always have me listening to it like its my first time... so many layers to peel back. please take the dick out of my mouth and listen to Geese's 3D Country
sosi
Just Joined the patreon for this reaction🔥

I went back and watched some old videos and I was thinking that maybe y’all could do some type videos on Kevin giving some after thoughts on albums he hasn’t listened to in a while, now that his music taste has grown so much, it would be nice to see if maybe his mind has changed on anything already reviewed. Sort of like a few of the songs off MBDTF or almost the entirety of Whole Lotta Red 😂. Would be nice to see that type of content, what music you like now that you didn’t then, or what music you liked then and don’t now.
Dylan
i second listening to a clipping album on halloween 🙋
betsinasa
amazing
Ozodabozo
Such a classic 😮💨
Ozodabozo
You guys have to listen to Hypochondriac next!!!
Dylan Owen
I'M SO EXCITED LET'S GOOOOOO
Tyler Callagher
Quadeca has been listening to a lot of Bossa Nova music resently so I imagine that will be a large influence to the sound of his next project. Also the name Scrapyard has to do with the fact that his mixtape is built up of songs that didn't make it into any of his planned or released projects that tend to have a theme, so this album is a throw-together of all of the tracks that Quadeca felt were worthy of being released without fitting on any of his projects.
Hmm idk
Oh my god, i thought about requesting this but i thought there is no chance you would do this in the near future but here we are😍🔥
Sultan Abul
Please listen to mixtape Pluto and Tems 🔥

I implore y’all to listen to Adrianne Lenker’s newest project - Bright Future. It’s beautiful and I think the emotional resonance of the project will really move both of you, especially Kevin. Thank you for so much content as of late! You guys are killing 2024!
