Hello you wonderful deviants,
I wanted to provide information regarding what the first playtest will be, and how it will work
The first play test will testing Running, Jumping, and Dashing (no SFX or sound, or music) - for the Rogue character 
If you recall my recent post about playtesting, or are not too familiar with playtesting - these are NOT Beta, or Alpha builds. These are micro instances to specifically test certain functionality and look for any Bugs.
In the playtest there will be a menu called "Playtest Info" Where I i will populate some general considerations and questions I would like feedback on, however I want you to provide additional feedback you may have - so treat it as a starting point. (below are not finalised)
There will then be a Form where you can provide your feedback :) 
All Playtests will be watermarked, and i'm sorry if that ruins any immersion, but I do need to protect the file, and do my best to limit theft or fake games using my work to advertise 
The Playtests will also be timed, and each playtest file will stop working after a certain point, I will likely keep playtests up for 2-4 weeks (this is undecided)
Below is what you will see if you try to play a playtest past the expiry date - and no, internet will not be required. 
There will also be a password 
There will be both Controller Support and Mouse and Keyboard Support and a basic controls menu.
This will be another aspect to get feedback on, keyboard and controller mapping.
The reason playtests will be called "001_A" is that I will likely revisit specific tests with updates so this one play test focusing on movement may get an update after feedback called 001_B
So when is the first play test? - TBD but soon, i would like to have it out by end of August.
Do you have any ideas for the play tests after that? Yes - but the below are just my current thoughts.
002 - Basic attack vs enemy (enemy you are weak against, enemy you are strong against, and one that is neutral to test sub class and affinity advantages and disadvantages)
003 - Basic Inventory and Equipment
004 - Potions
And just wanted to remind people as this is just testing jumping, running, and dashing it will be short and there isn't going to be much to do, as it is the very first play test.

Hey pmmc, so yes the main protagonist will be male actually, I just started with the female rogue because of the jiggles :)
