Gift of Hedone: Poll - Economy & Currency

I was started to work on the Economy Lore as I did have a few requests about how it works in Hedonia, and it got me thinking about basic Currency in the game.
This is just a thought, but what if the different villages had different "currency"?
So, why would I want to do this?
1. I think it would make for more interesting world building
2. From a gameplay perspective it means that you cant really hoard your wealth, as when you essentially get to a new area, you need to obtain the new currency for the local Vendors and Merchants.
However, in saying that the Kingdom might have like a "Currency Exchange" place, or maybe a dedicated store that accepts all, so at least its not all lost once you move to the next areas.
This is just me brainstorming, but I wanted your thoughts.

The only reason I say meh is I think in order for it to work you'll have to create banks in each area to manage funds. I think it would be alot of extra work but it could make for some fun quests or even make it so you can only get certain things in the game in certain areas with certain money. So I'm not saying no but it sounds like alot on your end.

interesting idea though maybe a bit too tedious if its every village. maybe have areas of the map split and its a couple of villages that make up an area with their own currency. unless the game isnt that big then ignore what i said.
