Gift of Hedone: Anni the Anvil "Interaction" Plan

So I have been constantly thinking how "interacting" with Anni the Anvil would work, and I think I've got it!
But I wanted to run it by you all before I spend time animating it etc.
In short, what if your "hammer" controlled the "ethereal hammer" that allows Anni the Anvil to work on and create wonderful, magical gear.
The idea here would be that the Anvil would reject regular hammers, and only the ethereal hammer tied to Anni can be wielded, but to control it you must insert your "hammer" into Anni which then syncs with the hammer and pounds the Anvil as you pound the Anvil.
What do you think of this?

Thank you so much for the comment, nothing to apologise for - i am always open to discussion and suggestions. So the Ethereal Hammer will be an artefact discovered, you can find a post about it by searching "Ethereal Hammer" :) But the idea that its just a handle and the rest of it manifests is a super cool idea, thank you!

That's silly, and perfect, i love it, the etheral hammer would be something to retrive in a quest or just laying on the anvil to attune it? Since it's etheral it can just be a handle and the head of the hammer appear once you attune and can get bigger or something like that the more you attune, sorry about all the unwanted suggestion i get excited
