Gift of Hedone: Poll - "Cumrency"

We are at a stage I don't really want to be considering additional game mechanics. But from the start I always had a though about how... "come", the other word can get flagged Could be used in some sort of Currency. There is definitely aspects that it is used throughout the game, but not in a tradable currency. So my one thought right now
(And i cant stress enough that this is just a thought, as I don't want to overwhelm myself)
But what if it were used as a very small Rogue-Lite addition when you are out exploring in a Combat aspect. The logic here is that you are getting aroused whilst out and about because lets be honest... those enemies be looking like a snack, so you build up your "Cumrency" and maybe trade it with the Ethereal Lady for temporary Boons or passive increases or items etc. whilst you are out exploring.
This would reset when you travel back to town, so it only builds in the instance you are out travelling/in the combat areas/wilderness
What do you think of this idea?

So it would only apply when you were out in the world "adventuring" and would reset to zero when you are back in a non hostile area

It gives me a similar vibe to the boost meter in some RPG games, but it resets when you go back to town.. Are you thinking it'd be static while in a town to spend or save when you go back out to "level"?
