Gift of Hedone - Lore Involvement

One bit of feedback I have been receiving is that people have been enjoying the lore & world building, which is really wonderful to hear!
I was wondering if having an opportunity to contribute to the lore would be of interest?
I'd likely set some parameters for lore I am possibly after but then you could suggest. If anything is included in the game, of course credits would be given.
This is just an idea, but I wanted to float it by you all.

Hey Erik, That is kind of how I am thinking, I would still provide a rough idea, and it would then be developed upon :)

Would be happy to try and contribute based on a prompt or something like that, at least that's how I'm interpreting this.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback Okami, love the "Forming, Storming, Norming, then performing" this does help a lot!

Its very early in development, still in preproduction

I'll make my suggestion of maybe you should do the lore by yourself I'm sorry if it'll sound harsh all I'm saying is that it would just minimize the amount of leaks that would go online plus if it's just you, you would be able to just calmly go about it instead of multiple different people saying stuff they want about the lore.

See this is why where one of the best communities W people

So is the game available to play or is it still in development, just curious?

Forgot to mention: Additionally if you have multiple people helping out in the initial draft of the lore you tend to have a lot more clashing heads. Teams are created by Forming, Storming, Norming, then performing after all

So, I may have put down for what I voted on, however I want to at least make a couple of suggestions. I want you to utilize both options, have you initially start the lore and have other people as your proofreaders. When I did storyboard for different art contracts, that was our process of doing things as it left it up to the creator (and a couple of the creators friends to whom they can choose to help them write the initial draft) and from there get people who werenβt involved at all to proofread. You can learn a lot of things taking a creative writing elective and writing lore for TTRPG :D

I think the best course of action would be to make the lore yourself, but if you are stuck on something or you can't decide on something then you can turn to the community. The lore should be your story, not the community's. Use the community as a tool and not a foundation

However having player input and asking for ideas is never a bad thing. I think it adds a very nice layer of developer to player interaction that a lot of games miss out on.

I agree with Squishy. I do think the lore should mostly be made you as the creator so it aligns with your wants and desires.
Squishy
Maybe you can share your base lore already and instead of adding additional lore we can add details to the existing lore to give it more depth?
Squishy
I'd love to give feedback, support, and ideas. But I also think I want to see what your idea looks like
