As this is a lewd game, I was really trying to figure out how younger people would fit into the world, and the below is what I have:
In the realm of Hedonia, dwell a race akin to humans in form yet they have a distinctive life cycle that transcends the ordinary. These beings, known as Hedonians, travel a very different a path of growth and development to humans.
Upon their birth into the world, Hedonian infants undergo a remarkable process called the “Celestial Ascension”. Within the span of a mere three days, on the second night within the twilight hours whilst asleep, Hedonians swiftly progress from tender infancy to full-fledged adulthood.
The development of a Hedonian after this metamorphosis is akin to that of a human who has lived eighteen years. The cosmic entities imbue them with the memories of their parents and ancestors, similar to the innate instincts that guide animals in their natural habitats. Thus, from the moment of their inception, Hedonians possess a wealth of ancestral knowledge and experiences, seamlessly integrated into their consciousness.
Following this rapid evolution, their journey mirrors that of humans in terms of aging and maturation. Yet, Hedonian society operates under a distinct paradigm when it comes to population dynamics. Unlike conventional systems where births are determined by individual choices, in Hedonia, the emergence of new life is subject to the whims of higher powers.
In this intricate tapestry of existence, the arrival of a new soul is not merely a consequence of mortality. Instead, it is a governed by the cosmic balance and the preservation of nature's harmony. Should a soul depart from this world, it does not automatically entail the conception of another. Instead, nature discerns the needs of the world and the welfare of its inhabitants before decreeing the inception of a new individual.
Thus, in the realm of Hedonia, the ebb and flow of life transcend the mundane constraints of biology, weaving a narrative of enchantment and mystery into the very fabric of existence.
