I think the Masc version can be DLC if you ever go the route of making content updates later on. It’s a lot to have double the sprites for everything, but once the game comes out and you take a break/generate some revenue, it’ll motivate you to make the other character!

I was going to select a character selection, but I can definitely see how doubling the animation requirements can be a bit much. In that case the androgynous look is more the way I'd go as well

Unfortunately the work involved would truly be huge, I can't commit to that. I could explore it as a possible future patch. But it would add too much extra work and scope creep

Unfortunately not, as this is a sprite based game, I would essentially have to create every animation again for the different physique

Hey Katana, Appreciate the suggestion. I may explore a temporary potion use case. But no guarantee unfortunately. But I do like the idea of a possible side quest in which that is the solution.
