I really appreciate all the input on the post i made here about the Church Icon/Symbol and one I had which I really liked was putting the original founders of the villages in the spot.
You can find lore about these by searching "Village Name" and all will have some relation to the founder. But if you cant find them let me know via message and I can send them through.
So the symbol and icon would be homages these founders.

So the statues on the church will be the original founders of each village, but I'll be honest you did unfortunately misinterpret, however I love your misinterpretation. That church's could become a hub to learn about the regions lore!

I may have mis interpret this, but There will be statues of the regional Goddess? And you would be able to go up and find out lore? I absolutely love that!! Giving the player a Incentive to go to church! Omg I just realized the confessionals!!
