Hello you delicious deviants,
I was thinking about variety of moves, and I remembered how in show Avatar the Last Air Bender, there were things expert Benders could do.
Spoilers below in you haven't seen the show.

Blood Bending for Water, Metal for Earth, Lightning for Fire.
This is just an idea right now, but I was working on some Lightning FX above, as who doesn't like lightning abilities? haha
But I couldn't decide if I wanted it to be a part/extension of Fire, or have it be an extension of water, because of lightning storms etc.
If I do explore this, do you think it is better suited to Fire, like ATLA, or Water?

As much as I'd love to, right now I'll be sticking to the 5 core ones I have, just from a coding perspective so it doesn't get too overwhelming

Lightning works with any element, because it's just an energy focus. It fits best with air because air can build in energy quickly when manipulated. Of the two though, I'd put it with fire because it feels like a more natural extension of the concept. Fire-Lightning, as opposed to Water-Storm-Lightning

Lightning, normally, is a variaton of air, or an element itself.. but storms = water.. I guess ^^

What about making it a mixture of two elements? Like in naruto, wood chakra is a mixture of earth and water chakra
