Gift of Hedone 2023 Review & 2024 Plan

2023:
I feel like I say this to myself every year, but man did it go quick. For this year, my main priority was to finish pre-production. And whilst I did not complete this in it's entirety, the framework that contains all aspects of what I require from the game is Done.
What do I mean by this?
Story: I know how I want to start, what conflicts I want to happen throughout, the over arching stories of each chapter and how I want it to finish.
Game Mechanics: I believe I have all the game mechanics I will need to work on - I iwl ljust need to develop and elaborate on certain details of mechanics that may not be finalised (i.e all the sexual positions, and their effects for example, combat abilities & passives)
Items/Potions/Equipment: This does still need to work, and will be progressively developed over time.
But because of where the above is up to, that gives me the framework "bubble" to know how many places and villages i need to make, what building i need to include, what important story related NPCs I need to make - for NPCs the only things i have not decided on are side-quest givers and general village NPCs
2024:
My plan for 2024 with the above framework in place is to really focus on learning Game Development, and get into the Development Stage (The stage everyone really wants)
All the 2023 aspects will be on going of course, alongside more Lore & World Building - but kicking off the actual Development stage of production is the goal! :)
