While I do understand Hen being miffed by everyone (except Athena) forgetting her birthday, I was also like, calm down after a while. Like, be upset, but pouting like a child is not a good look. Yeah, Eddie's parents need to calm down. Not everything is about achievements and such. That stuff might bring you enjoyment and fulfillment, but it doesn't bring everyone (like your son and your grandson) enjoyment and fulfillment. And his mom calling him "just a driver," just hell naw!

Enjoyed your reaction and agree with you wholeheartedly about Eddie being a great dad. Eddie’s parents behaved so selfishly. Helena manipulated him. What parent tries to keep their child away from their own son so they can “parent” him instead? Eww. Glad Eddie and Chris are finally reunited; I didn’t enjoy this storyline that took Eddie away from LA and separated him from Chris for long.

I ACTUALLY HATE THE DIAZ PARENTS SO MUCH!!! Like what do you mean Ramon pretended to be Chris father?? My gripes with this texas storyline is that 1) Eddie never explodes at his parents, which they deserve…and 2) Eddie and Chris don’t actually discuss the entire reason Chris came to El Paso in the first place(His mother’s doppleganger). I feel like the showrunner really regretted sending Chris to Texas in the first place and you can tell by the way everything is written. Basically the actor who plays Chris moved cities and they had to accommodate that but they could have done anything else.
