Finally found the time to watch this. I agree it's the weakest episode of the season so far but still great. I love the scene of The Doctor finally remembering saving someone with the same face in The Fires of Pompeii. I also loved all the moments between The Doctor and Clara in this one, so heartfelt. Yes The Doctor was talking about Clara at the end there, he really does have deep feelings for her by this point. And a lot of the lines in this episode really make you think which I like. 😊

That ending shot with her innocent smiley face turning into that sinister face has to be one of my favorite shots in the entire show. So beautifully done, and conveys so much more than words could.

The Hybrid is something that has been mentioned before this season. Davros first said it in "The Witch's Familiar", believing it to be half Dalek, half Time Lord.
