I never really thought about "dirt" in categories before seeing this episode and hearing Hodgins' "dirt" speech, lol. Now, if anyone around me says something about dirt, I can practically hear him saying, "Is it sandy? Silty? Is it clay? Soil? Pulverized gravel..." etc. It amuses me. What does the earring prove? That Booth was willing to risk his FBI career on Brennan by hiding evidence that could have placed her at the scene of the murder. (And that he loooooooves her, lol.)
