Numb3rs was another show on air at the time about a mathematical genius who solved crimes - he was always writing out equations so that’s what Shawn was referencing/poking fun at. They do that a lot in this show, it’s great. I’m so glad you’re watching and enjoying this one, it’s one of my favorites (along with Bones and Leverage : D)
