Going to answer 2 of your random questions: 1) Autoerotic asphyxiation is a real cause of death. The Kung Fu actor, David Carradine, died that way in Bangkok in 2009. 2) I can't say it has happened with a passenger jet, but my father landed his 2 seater bi-plane on Route 1 in Maine (on Memorial Day weekend), when he had engine trouble. He had always been told that if you come in low over a road, the cars will get out of your way.
