I can see that. I have the point of view of being a kid with a parent who had a catastrophic accident like that and 16 weeks after felt like the snap of the fingers. The only thing that changed in that time was the number of doctors appointments a week.

I think the problem is because of the time jump and the fact that it has been 16 weeks we don't see how she was when it first happened. I am sure she was very compassionate about the whole thing when it first happened. However it has now been 16 weeks and he is not even trying to get better. That to me is not Haley being incompassionate but being tired of essentially being a single mom and working and not getting any help at all from her husband. While Nathan is going through a lot by this time he should be helping in some way and he is not instead he is drinking in his sorrows. He should have gotten some help from a psychiatrist too. At this point Lucas is helping more than Nathan. I don't see Haley thinking Nathan should just snap out of it but more so he needs to start doing something to help out more.

I think it's more the lack of compassion from Hailey. She is my least favorite character because I just find her really hypocritical and she holds everyone else to such high standards but then never takes responsibility for her own crap. While yes Nathan did need to hear it, I don't think the way she goes about it is right. She wants him to just snap out of it but with injuries like that that isn't how that happens.

I don't see Haley being judgy here I see her trying to do what is best for Jamie. For 16 weeks Nathan was not there for Jamie and Haley and saying that he has nothing and his life is over when he has his family. Nathan clearly needed to hear Haley say that she will take Jamie and leave if he dosen't change. Jamie is a little boy who shouldn't be around that.

I think that was Nathan's real hair! James Lafferty had said they planned this during season 4, they told him his hair would be long for the time jump so I think he stopped cutting it and that's why his hair was a bit longer end of season 4.

Nathan has only been paralyzed for 16 weeks the fact that he is already trying to walk and get back to who he was is something not many would do that soon and I think that gets overlooked a lot, I know Haileys life changed too but she is so judgy sometimes. It does suck that Nathan missed Jamies race but honestly he needs more time.

Jamie is the best edition to this show!!! Adult brook is my favorite, which is kind of funny because she was my least favorite of the core 5 in high school!

This episode was SO GOOD! Haley!!! Man, Joy was phenomenal in this episode! The fight with Nathan perfect. Aside from all the tears in our eyes it was a fun episode!
