I forgot how good this show was. Been ages since I watched it. And Gilbert is sweet. Poor Anne really does have it rough, bless her. Nice to see her go to Marilla for a hug at the end, and not Matthew who she seemed to bond with right away.

Agree with everything you said at the end- I’m enjoying this too for sure. There was a lot to feel sad about in this one but the most heartbreaking moment for me might’ve been seeing her take the flowers out of her hat after her first day at school 😔
