Such an awesome episode!! The first few were great but when this show was airing I remember this episode being the first time I got really excited. I totally agree with you about that shot of the punch, that was SO well done. There are loads of awesome slowmo moments throughout the seasons. For a show on The CW with a shoestring budget compared to the likes of the MCU shows for example, they do a FANTASTIC job with the special effects. They have some talented people working for them that's for sure. 🔥 And I love how you thought so much of the dialogue sounded dirty lmao. I never thought that before but I definitely do now. Especially when Eddie and Barry are boxing. I'll never be able to unhear that. 😂😂😂😂

One neat thing this episode that you might not have picked up on, Iris's opening/closing voice-over is nearly word-for-word of Barry's opening/closing voice-over from the pilot episode! Both start with "I need you to do something. I need you to believe in the impossible", and both end with "a friend of mine gave me an idea for a name, and something tells me it's going to catch on" (Barry's referring to Oliver, and Iris is of course referring to Barry). That shot you loved is definitely one of the more iconic shots from S1, if memory serves they use it in all of the future S1 intros, possibly some of the S2 ones too. (And of course as usual, must gush about the soundtrack. We got the first taste of the man in yellow's theme in the closing scene, definitely one of my character motifs Blake Neely composed!)
