True Blood. You know him from True Blood. I don't know what all the drama with summer internships/summer plans is about. It's a summer. It's twelve weeks. It's three months. They're not dying or moving away forever. Yes, you would want to know your partner is disappointed not to be seeing you, but you're 19/20-year-old college students. It's reasonable to accept opportunities that further your educational or career goals. You're spot on with your assessment of the season story structure.
