Really wished they added a recap at the beginning of this episode, but here is a quick recap from season 3 finale: Maya Pope’s bomb kills Senator Hightower, and Cyrus lets it happen to boost Fitz’s reelection chances. Fitz wins the election, but only because his son Jerry is poisoned and then dies—a scheme by Rowan Pope to regain control of B613. Rowan captures Maya, manipulates Olivia into believing she (Maya) killed Jerry, and locks her away. Overwhelmed, Olivia leaves D.C. with Jake. Meanwhile, Harrison confronts Rowan after uncovering his plot, but the episode ends with a gun to Harrison’s head, leaving his fate uncertain. <3
