I think it makes sense especially if you are unfamiliar with some of the characters. Going back and forth could be a touch confusing too I suppose.

Me and the other people in the Arrowverse sponsoring group discussed this back and forth for a while. And we came to the conclusion that it would be better for Travis to do a few episodes of each show at a time rather than going back and forth episode by episode. We think it'll be easier for him to keep track of the storylines this way, especially when the other two shows are introduced soon. I put together a full watch order for Travis that takes into consideration every crossover (both the mini ones and the big ones) plus all the references to the other shows on each show so it'll all make sense for him and fit together. The only times he'll switch between the shows episode by episode is during the crossovers or other significant storylines. But yeah, mostly it'll be done like this, a few episodes of each show at a time.

I am so happy to watch the arrowverse with you. I’m still curious as to why we don’t do flash and arrow more rotationally. Ie S1E5 flash then S3E5 arrow. Like the old Tuesday Wednesday schedule as it did live on the cw almost a decade ago.
