They weren't all faked. At the very least, Parker's was real. She has no connection to Claire and Nish, etc. Veronica is asking a fair question - how many were real? And you're right! The woman who played Selma was a terrible actress because she was a stunt-cast. While she is an actress, she's best known for being the famous heiress who was kidnapped (in real life): Patty Hearst. So, you see, they got the real Patty Hearst (who was kidnapped) to play the character Selma Hearst (who was "kidnapped"). If you're not familiar with Patty's story (and you're interested in learning more), I'll let you look that up on your own time.
