I love these only for television moments that are so transparently flamboyant misdirections. Surely in any real sense you wouldn't let a known serial killer into the room with the victim. Even if to bate them into incriminating themselves. Quite a risky business if there's even the slightest chance they might decide or need to change tact and kill the victim in another fashion. I'm a fan of these procedural cops shows with a gimmick, I've watched a bunch of them.
