i’m so glad you’re enjoying it so much but like you i definitely relate more to Regina than the Kennish Parents. i didn’t have a single mom, i had both my parents growning up but we weren’t rich and they just seem so entitled and classist while Regina is more down to Earth so i related to her.

i love so much that you're doing this show! and i felt the same my first watch! divorced parents and my moms side was a lot like regina's life and my dad's was a lot like the kennishes. it makes the girls so relatable and real. the confusion and inner guilt seems very real to the situation.

I used to talk like Daphne and some of my classmates made fun of my voice behind my back so I totally understood what Daphne felt like when those two idiots were making fun of her. Anyway, after years of speech therapy, my speaking voice improved rather better than when I started and when it comes to singing, it's like I'm back in speech therapy again. Yeah but also it's completely natural for a teenager to want to get to know her biological parents and for her to want them to like her. IDK, for me I cut Daphne slack bc a) she's like 16 and b) it's entirely normal to want a connection with the people who made you, the people who can tell you about your family history etc

Don’t feel bad for not liking the Kennishes right now. They are definitely entitled and have a LOT of learning to do before they should be trying to have any say over how Daphne is being raised. I think sometimes people are a bit more conflicted on who to “side with” (since there’s an obvious division among them right now) because Regina is so defensive and comes across kinda harsh imo. But I agree with you, I thought everything she was saying at that dinner made complete sense. Both mothers seemed able to admit their faults in this ep though which is hopeful I think!

25:11 “hey uh i’m going out uhugh” used to have me and my sister dyinggggg like what was that line delivery 😂😂 but absolutely the Kennish’s suckkk. they’re so ignorant and rude and it does seem like they are coming for her parenting like hello?? they are so obviously on a high horse and i hate that daphnes so desperate to get to know them and for them to like her, she’s blaming the tension on regina. like regina can’t help she’s poor😭😭
