the end of this always makes me cry for Callie as well… her speech was just so powerful and she did try so hard after the leg and the cheating and everything, and her needs took a backseat to loving Arizona through it all. Calzona is one of my favorite couples but in this moment i felt exactly why Callie felt that way, and i found it so interesting because i think when they went to therapy Arizona did want out and Callie wanted to hold on and in the end, they flipped their positions. also, i just love Meredith and Callie’s friendship, it isn’t played much but when it is it’s always entertaining.

I love this show so much. I just want to say that Sara Ramirez is one of the sexiest women around. She is not built like a lollipop. She is full figured to a sense and owns it. She makes it ok for those of us with normal bodies to dance around in our underwear.

I actually really appreciate this episode. Idk if it is because I'm married and feel like this type of therapy can be so necessary for couples struggling. And then to have this situation end totally flipped where Callie starts to understand that she's trying to save a marriage all while she's drowning herself. She hasn't been the Callie we all know and loved for so long and I know it's the same for Arizona but Callie has put up with so much and tried so hard to save her marriage. I'm so glad she's trying to save herself now.

I think you're right, they showed more about Callie having a hard time with the break and basically wanting to break the rules than being happy and laughing and being more free. (Although I love that scene at the bar with Mer and her doing shots). Side note but I just loved your reaction to Derek's line ha ha. Could he be more arrogant ? Ugh.

I think it would have been a bit of character assassination to have Arizona ask for a divorce after the cheating and how mean she was to Callie after the plane accident.

i do absolutely think callie and arizona are different people now than when they got together, especially arizona, like you said at the end there. Arizona has really put callie through so much in these past few years and ofc vice versa but cheating on her i do think was like the final nail in the coffin. and didn’t they buy their house like right after?? that felt like a weird solution to me lmao
