December Poll Winner - Saiyan Effect Chapter 24

Hello everyone! Here is the update for the December poll winner. I managed to get this one out on normal time. I am working hard to not get stuck again. I don’t want to disappoint you all.
The next PFTG update will hopefully happen in a week, but it might be two. It will be before Christmas, I can promise that!

CHAPTER 24 – A Date, a Return to Omega, and an Ending

(Gohan POV)
The restaurant was classy, but not obnoxiously so. The atmosphere was pleasant, neither too intimate nor stifling. And most importantly, the food was excellent.
A good choice for a first date with a high-level citizen.
Gohan had to admit, Tevos did look beautiful. The dress she was wearing was not too revealing, but highlighted her curves. She was only wearing a small touch of make up on her eyes and lips. She moved gracefully, like a dancer. And she had a very nice smile.
The conversation started quite easily, with small talk about their work and learning small details about each other’s lives. Like Gohan learning about how Tevos was a matriarch, but not really considered one as she had no children of her own. He shared about his own family, including his child and grandchildren.
Tevos giggled softly after one of his stories about Pan. “Your daughter seems like quite the character,” she said, smiling at him again. “I look forward to meeting her.”
Gohan raised his eyebrow at that, remembering the conversation he’d had before coming here.
“Well,” he said with a sheepish smile, “when you do, know that she is going to come on pretty strong. The important thing will be that you don’t back down. Her personality is as strong as she is.”
A small smirk touched Tevos’ lips. “I’m sure,” she replied.
They moved on to other conversations. Gohan talked about his role as a trainer for a lot of the saiyans on Mindoir. Tevos revealed that she’d had the basics of biotics training but didn’t keep it up all that much. She did some training when her schedule allowed it, but she was usually too busy stuck in various meetings to bother.
“That’s a shame,” Gohan said as he sipped at a glass of wine. He wasn’t a big fan of alcohol, seeing as it didn’t make him drunk at all. His saiyan physiology meant that unless it was something made by Whis or one of the other angels then it wouldn’t be strong enough to even affect him. However, his many business meetings over the years had exposed him to a lot of different wines. It meant that he had found some that hadn’t tasted too bad and even one or two that he enjoyed. “If you had kept up in your training, I might have considered seeing how well you would do in using ki.”
Tevos froze at that, gaping at him for a long moment before she composed herself. “Excuse me?” she said, sounding stunned. “You would teach me how to use your power?”
Gohan shrugged. It hadn’t been the plan before this, but he had no trouble teaching ki control to first timers. Wrex was a prime example. “Sure,” he said easily. “At least, if we were to be in a relationship,” he amended. “That and it is much easier to do if you are someone trained in martial arts of some kind. That sort of discipline and the knowledge that you gain of your own body and its energy makes it easier to connect to ki.”
“Really?” she said, looking into the distance. “I find myself extremely interested in restarting my training.” She looked back at him. “Would you be open to training some of our Spectre’s in ki use?”
Gohan shook his head. “No,” he replied firmly. “While I would make special exception in a relationship, as I did with Videl, or if there was some other exceptional circumstance, I won’t just be training other agents to use ki. Not without a much greater level of trust between our peoples. And, sad to say, so far that trust has no been found between our societies yet.”
The asari pursed her lips. “I’m sorry,” she said, looking down. “I don’t approve of any of the actions taken against your people. I also haven’t spoken against the retaliations you have conducted. I just don’t like so many lives being lost, or risk being lost in the instability that comes after conflicts topple power structures.”
“I understand,” Gohan said with a soft smile. “I don’t really like killing either, though I have done it when necessary. Senseless violence has never been the answer, but we saiyans don’t believe that we should throw away our people just to keep others at peace.”
Tevos nodded. “I understand too.” She sighed. “Sorry, this conversation started getting too deep for a first date. My apologies.”
Gohan grinned. “I agree,” he said. “That was clearly third date material. You can ask again when we get there.”
Tevos blinked, before she gave him a playful smile of her own. “Third date planning already?” she asked coyly. “Why, Ambassador Gohan, what’s a woman meant to think about that? You’re being mighty presumptuous.”
Gohan’s grin turned playful too. “Maybe,” he conceded. “Or maybe, I just go after what I am interested in.”
Tevos raised a hand and stroked her neck softly. “I see. And do you see anything else that you are… interested in?”
Gohan stared at her playfully. “I believe I do. But only time will tell if I am interesting to others in return.”
“Oh, trust me,” Tevos countered, her lips twisting to a saucy smirk. “I believe that you have enough about you to interest everyone.”
They stared hungrily into each other’s eyes for a moment, before the atmosphere was ruined by a waiter coming to the table to drop off their desserts. Tevos blinked and looked away, her cheeks turning a light purple colour.
“I believe,” she said, taking a sip of her own wine, “that I shall enjoy exploring more of this subject, thoroughly, at a later time. The next date, for example.”
Gohan smiled. “And if you are truly interested after that, I would be willing to explore with you.”
They shared an agreeing smile, before the desserts were dropped off at the table and their conversation moved on to other topics.

(Trunks POV)
Despite a year having passed, Trunks couldn’t say that the smell had improved at all. At a very generous best, it was exactly the same. More likely it was worse. He didn’t remember the smell of blood being as strong as it was now.
Or the rubble being as bad as it is.
He’d heard rumours of things having gotten violent after he had given his demands to the Pirate Queen of Omega. Apparently, a lot of people were not happy with the order that he had given and expected to be followed. There were insults, threats and, eventually, violence.
Looking around the current area of Omega, he guessed that those rumours were a little more than rumours.
The near constant nighttime look of Omega meant that the burning buildings in the distance were still letting off a glowing orange hue on the horizon. He didn’t hear any gunshots or other signs of active conflict, but the flames were hight enough to attest that it hadn’t happened long ago, or it was far enough away that he just couldn’t hear it over the distance. He didn’t bother using his senses to search out the bodies down there. It wasn’t worth his time.
He made his way to the front of the Afterlife club where Aria made her centre of power. He paused to look at the front of the building. There were several guards standing with weapons at the ready in case someone attacked. And someone had certainly attacked.
There were bullet holes in the front of the building, looking like tiny dents from the size of the pellets these weird Citadel guns fired. The A in Afterlife was hanging crooked and the I and F wee smashed. Most tellingly, the massive elcor that had been guarding the door the first time was nowhere to be seen.
He strode to the door and no less than three guards raised their weapons at him at his approach. He raised an eyebrow and continued forward without slowing down. A turian he didn’t see last time shouted at him.
“Stop, or we’ll shoot!” he barked, sounding aggressive. Trunks didn’t even slow down.
“Weapons down!” the leader, an asari who looked like one of the dancers he had seen last time he came here, shouted out once she saw Trunks walking towards them. “Weapons down now or he’ll kill you all before your hearts have time to beat!”
The turian gaped at her for a moment before he slowly lowered his weapon, the others that had raised theirs following suit. Trunks didn’t stop, climbing the stairs without even slowing down.
“Wise choice,” Trunks commented mockingly as he walked past her without looking at her.
He made it two steps past the door when he heard a shout ‘NO!’ and a gun discharged. He could have reacted and moved out of the way. He could have turned around and caught whatever was shot at him. He could have wiped out the entire station in the microsecond between the firing of the shot and the shot doing anything. He chose not to do any of that. It was time for a different message.
A tiny push in the back of his head let him know exactly who the target was and where they were aiming. He stopped, then slowly turned to look over his shoulder at his assailant.
The turian from before was staring at him, gaping stupidly as he realised that his attempt to bravely shoot someone in the back had resulted in nothing at all.
Trunks slowly turned his whole body to face the turian, who started shaking. He pulled the trigger again in his fear, not really aiming at Trunks this time.
This time, Trunks phased past the shot and appeared right in front of the turian, grabbing and snapping the rifle in the alien’s arms. He raised a hand slowly, everyone looking in fear as Trunks’ finger approached the turian’s head, before flicking the alien’s forehead gently.
A loud cracking sound echoed around the area as the turian went flying back, his body flying to a wall and crashing into it with several loud thuds. Once it came to a rest and lay still, the whole street went both dead silent and dead still. Trunks ignored them and focussed his senses on the turian’s body lying on the floor.
“He’s not dead yet,” he spoke up casually to the street. “But his forehead is fractured and his brain will likely be bruised but he will live if you get him to medical help now. Otherwise, he will likely die within the hour.”
With that, he turned and walked back down the hallway, ignoring the sounds of frantic activity behind him as the asari from before started barking orders.
No one stopped him as he continued to stroll through the nightclub at a sedate pace, not feeling hurried in the slightest. The club was still a hive of activity, people were rushing about carrying boxes or checking armour and weapons. Gone was the music that had thudded deafeningly through the place, replaced by faint cries from wounded mercenaries in the distance and loud conversations from angry or panicking people.
Huh. He hadn’t expected it to have gotten this bad in a single year. He probably underestimated the response from the different pirate and slaver gangs that operated out here, now that the batarian government was no more.
He wasn’t stupid. He knew that there were dozens, if not hundreds of more settlements and colonies in the terminus. Everything from asteroid bases, all the way up to independent colonised planets. Nearly none of them united, and many of them carrying on the traditions of slavery outside of Citadel jurisdiction. The saiyans hadn’t planned on expanding their efforts all the way out there yet. There was too much space to go through, too many places to find. It would probably take years.
No, Trunks had a different target in mind for when he was finished on Omega.
Ilium.
He walked past the guard watching the stairs. The krogan took one look at him, nodded, and stepped to the side. He wasn’t sure if it was because of his own reputation, Aria had sent word for him to pass, or if it was because of the work that Gohan was doing with the big aliens. Either way, it was more respect than he expected to get out here.
As he reached the top of the stairs, he could see that the tables that had been here on the lower level were gone and barriers had been scattered around, creating obstacles that would slow down any combatant invaders, with several squads of Aria’s troops ready to hold them off if necessary.
He walked past them all to the top of the stairs where a tactical computer had been placed in front of Aria’s couch. The asari herself was glaring down at the readout and barking orders as he approached.
“I don’t care if your squad is undersized right now,” she snapped down the comm. “I need you to hold that refinery! I will have two squads to reinforce you in the next two hours. Until then, don’t let those Blue Suns jackasses take another step forward!” She slammed a hand on the terminal wall, disconnecting the call.
“You!” she spat venomously at Trunks the moment she saw him. “All of this mess is because of your marching orders to stop slavery in a year! Do you know how many people have died since you gave that order? How many innocents that you supposedly care about?”
Trunks merely raised an eyebrow at her accusations. “And how many slaves have passed through this station since you took power more than a century ago?” he asked right back. “How many people have been captured from this very station, right under your nose, to be sold as slaves? How many of those slaves died in chains to their masters after they were taken? How many more would have died if we hadn’t taken down the Hegemony and stopped a massive part of the slave trade from continuing?
“Don’t pretend that you care about any of them,” he continued, before she had a chance to respond. “I know very well what it is that you care about, and none of it is the innocent people beneath you. You only care about your power and how to hold on to it. If you cared for more than yourself, you might have had more loyalty from the people living here.”
“Don’t preach to me!” she snarled. “I’ve been around for centuries before you were even sprogged from your father’s nut sack! I know more about Omega than anyone ever will! I…”
A small pulse of energy threw her to the floor, making her fumble about awkwardly. Her face twisted in rage as she tried to throw herself bodily at him, her hands reaching towards him as if to tear him apart.
He pulsed his ki a little stronger this time, throwing the pirate queen into the ground hard enough to dent it and drawing a gasp from her as the air was forced from her lungs. He chose to watch her dispassionately, as she struggled to pull herself out of the ground. Every time she managed to get halfway up, he pulsed his ki again, forcing her back into the ground.
Her very core almost vibrated with defiance at being forced into a subservient role. But as he continued to press her into the ground, that defiance slowly dropped to grudging impudence, and eventually, she stopped trying to stand up against the pressure of his ki and just sat on the floor with a surly expression.
Trunks leaned forward into her space. “Are you done?” he asked blandly, unimpressed with her attitude. “Are you still acting out like a child denied her favourite toy?”
She scowled but looked away, refusing to answer him as she crossed her arms under her generous bust.
He stood up and turned away from her, unconcerned at her acting out as he stared out over the club below their position. A few people had turned to look up at the commotion in the upper office, but quickly looked away as he appeared in the window.
“You had control of this place for more than a century,” he said, looking out across the activity of the club floor. “You somehow managed to convince all of the mercenaries that did business here that you were the big boss, the one that they must heel to when they are here on the station. A century to consolidate that rule. Yet, when I came in and showed you what real power was, what real power could look like, then gave you a year to clear out one of the most abominable practices in the galaxy, everything folded underneath you like a rotten branch, showing the façade for what it really was. Your power meant nothing, your reputation meant nothing. All that you can do is fight against the so-called weaker mercenary groups and cling to whatever small power you have.”
Although his back was turned, Trunks was never stupid enough to think that Aria was fully cowed. He tracked her energy, which was climbing as she was trying to prepare a biotic attack. He extended his other senses and could feel the faint vibrations in the air as the attack was compressed to enhance its power.
He shook his head and let of a strong, constant stream of invisible ki aimed directly at the asari pirate. It wasn’t enough to kill her, but it was far stronger than the small pulses he had used on her before.
She was thrown violent away from him and nearly flattened to the floor, her attack being released and smashing into a table, which was shredded from the power in the glowing blue ball. Trunks turned around and saw that the blue alien was visibly struggling to keep breathing from the force that was being exuded directly onto her body.
“What you are feeling,” Trunks said conversationally, not letting up on the ki at all, “is a simulation of my people’s gravity from our last home planet, Vegeta. It was ten times as powerful as Earth’s gravity is. Thessia’s too, actually. If I keep this up, you will gradually feel your bones be shattered, your muscles and tendons ripped to shreds and your organs liquifying. You will die. It will be slower than you wish, though that is partly your fault for being strong enough to not be knocked out immediately from the pressure that it puts on your brain.
“Your brain, incidentally,” he continued, as calmly as if he was talking about the weather, “is the only reason that you won’t be forced to survive for too long. The pressure will eventually crack your skull and the fragments will then have free access to crush your brain. I am told that the process is extremely painful. Eventually, you will black out as bone shards are pressed into your brain matter.”
Fear, real fear, could now be seen on the asari’s blue face. The pressure of his energy was still too much for her to do any more than look afraid. With the added strain of fighting against his ki pressure, he idly noted that it made her look constipated.
“I am going to let you up now,” he said. “If you attack me again, there will not be anymore chances. I will erase you from the universe. There shall be nothing left for even your most fanatical supporters to mourn over. Understand?”
The asari pirate winced but nodded with a grunt, clearly having learned by now that there was nothing that she could do to harm him. He cut off his ki, leaving her to gasp for a long moment as the pressure and pain faded slowly. She gingerly got to her feet and looked down, her jaw and fists clenching and unclenching rapidly.
Trunks considered her for a moment, then looked back out over the club. More people were looking up expectantly than before, but there were still plenty of people that were looking very determined to not look up towards the upper office. His eye lingered on the small group of wounded asari civilians that were huddled together out of the way at one of the booths. Even from his position, he could see the tears that were falling from their faces.
He made up his mind in that moment. He knew what he was going to do. His father would probably be happy. After all, Vegeta was all about having Trunks be proactive in his decisions. Something like this would tickle the saiyan king more than anything else he had done recently, except for killing the salarian councillor.
“I’m going to help you,” Trunks said, breaking the sullen silence as he turned to face the asari.
Aria’s head jerked up and she stared at him in confusion. “Help how?” she asked sceptically.
“Do you have an all-point broadcast system that will let me speak to everyone in the entire station?” he asked. “For emergency evacuations or something of the sort that you can send out to everyone?”
She blinked but gave a slow nod. “Some areas probably won’t have working speakers,” she cautioned.
He nodded and gestured to her console. “Activate it,” he ordered. “I’m going to send a message to all of your challengers at once.”
She stared at him, clearly trying to figure out what he was going to do, but she had no idea what he was going to say. She moved slowly to the console and tapped a few buttons on the display. Finally, she gestured to the console, letting him know it was ready.
He stepped forward. “Attention to everyone on Omega,” he said clearly. “This is Prince Trunks from the Saiyan Kingdom. I am standing here in Afterlife, with Aria whom you all know.
“A year ago, after we saiyans destroyed the Batarian Hegemony and eradicated Khar’Shan, I gave Aria an ultimatum. She was to end all slaving operations on Omega. I gave her a year to complete her task, or I would take over management of the space station.”
He looked over at Aria, who glared at him with gritted teeth, but said nothing. “As evidenced by the current conflict between the various mercenary gangs and Aria’s forces, that instruction has not been completed. And I am a man of my word.”
The implications of what he said was clear to Aria immediately, as she stiffened and her eyes opened wide in shocked fury. He held up a hand, letting a ball of ki start to form, preventing her from doing anything but stand there and looking fearfully at the glowing ball of potential death.
“As of this moment,” he continued, not taking his eyes away from Aria, “I am now in charge of the Omega station, replacing Aria as overall ruler. She will remain my right hand, managing the day-to-day affairs of the station. Any action taken against her, will be considered an action taken against me and I will be the one that seeks retribution against those who find themselves so bold.
“Let me be clear; I will completely destroy every person on this station that seeks to restore or continue the practice of slavery. I don’t care who you think you are, or how long you have been profiting from it. I will end you just the same. This is no longer Aria’s law. It is mine. There will be no exceptions to it.
“If you think that you are capable of fighting me, you will get your chance. I can feel the energy of every single person on this station, regardless of race. I will be coming to check on you very soon. If anyone tries to fight me, I will do to you what my friend did to the turian fleet, or my father did to Khar’Shan. There will be nothing left of you but a memory that will eventually be forgotten.
“If you choose not to fight me but don’t want to live under my command, you have two hours to depart this station. If you try and be cute and do something like plant a bomb to explode after you have gone, you won’t even make it to your ships before you are rounded up and killed, before being flung into space, denied all burial rights of your peoples and ignored in the most complete way possible. But one final thing, no matter who you are, what your beliefs on my rule are or your stance to my new law here on Omega, the fighting stops now. I will not wait for two hours before I start appearing in combat areas and killing all parties who seek to continue the violence in defiance of my word. You will stop right this instant and those who are leaving will leave, and you will do so without taking any slaves, captives or hostages. They will be left behind alive and unharmed, or I will forgo any thought of amnesty towards you. Your two hours starts now.”
With that, he pressed the button ending the broadcast, letting the terminal go dark.
Aria scowled at him bitterly. “I guess you have taken over Omega, my prince,” she bit out, making his title as sarcastic as possible. “But how are you going to enforce your rule? Not even you can be everywhere all at once. How are you going to enforce your power here?”
Trunks smirked at the blue alien for her presumption and used the multiform technique, immediately split off into six identical versions of himself. Five of them instantly split up and vanished, heading off around the station to stop the worst areas of conflict or the ones most likely to try and blow the whole place up after they left.
Aria looked like she had eaten a lemon as she watched the split off versions depart. “You must be fun at parties,” she growled.
“And in the bedroom,” he replied, smirk growing wider. “Too bad you’ll never know about that.”
Her eye twitching brought joy to his soul as he turned to look out over the club again. This time, everyone on the ground floor were looking up at him. A surprising number of his new people were bowing or nodding to him.
Maybe Aria wasn’t as popular as she had assumed.
“I will be staying here a while,” he said, not bothering to look around. “I will be taking an assessment of the situation here and I will be making sure that the quality of life here is brought in line with everywhere else in the Saiyan Kingdom. Once the transition has been completed and we get some proper offices here for my use, I will be offering citizens here a chance to join the Saiyan Kingdom and move to one of our planets, though not our home world, while offering our people, or rather some of our new citizens that we rescued from the batarians, the same choice to come here and establish our growing presence on the station. I will personally be overseeing the security arrangements during this transition.”
He turned around to face the clearly unhappy pirate queen. “As for you, you have a choice ahead of you,” he said. “You can either stay here and remain the manager of the station, essentially doing the same work that you are now but with less trouble from mercenaries. Or, you can leave and go anywhere you want to go in the galaxy.”
“That’s so nice of you,” she sneered sarcastically. “Letting me stay on as your puppet now that you’ve overtaken my station.”
“Actually, you would be a vassal,” Trunks cut her off. “You would still be in nominal charge of the station. However, if I give you an order to do something, you would do it without complaint or hesitation. I highly doubt I would bother interfering in the daily management of this place. And you would be able to make more money without having to fork out so much on private security. Of course, I would still take a percentage of the profits as a tax, but seeing as I will be in total charge, that is expected.”
He turned back to look out over the club one last time. “Make your choice, Aria T’loak,” he said firmly. “Stay, or go.”

(Goku POV)
The look of horror on Sleet’s face reminded Goku of the many times that he had seen a similar look on Frieza’s face. The most notable time was the first time that he had transformed into a Super Saiyan, after Krillin’s first death. He had apparently become the living manifestation of Frieza’s worst nightmare.
He had seen that same face many times since. After all, Frieza had been so adamant in trying to take on Goku and his family and friends for nearly three decades before Goku had finished the job for the last time.
Sleet’s face had that exact same look. If Goku had to put words to it, they would be something like ‘I hate this with every part of my soul’ and ‘how is this possible?’ with a little bit of ‘I want to be anywhere but here’. Maybe a little bit of ‘I want my mummy’.
He blinked at that. He was spending too much time with Vegeta.
“H-how?” Sleet stammered leaning back as if Goku was stepping into his space, even though the saiyan hadn’t moved. “How did you get around Myne’s technique? How did you use your energy to transform?!”
Goku started to focus his energy into his hand, building enough of it to start glowing brightly.
“How did you shrug off that beating I gave you?!?” Sleet continued, shouting louder, his panic getting more intense every second. “How can you even stand right now?!? WHY CAN’T I KILL YOU?!?!”
Goku slowly raised his arm to point at the alien warlord, who seemed to freeze in fear as he saw the still building attack being pointed in his direction.
“I would normally tell you,” Goku said, his tone more conversational, which seemed to terrify the golden alien. “But you just convinced me of something that my friends and family have told me for years.”
He phased out of sight, appearing right in front of Sleet and firing a massive energy blast before Sleet had the chance to do anything other than look even more terrified. The energy completely covered the warlord’s body. Enough energy to wipe out half a solar system was sent straight into the golden alien as Goku released the full power of his attack. It wasn’t anywhere near as strong as a Kamehameha wave, but for someone of Sleet’s level, it was more than enough.
The alien only had the chance to let out a short, pained scream, before falling silent as Goku’s attack erased his body from existence. The energy blast continued on far into the distance, before it eventually faded sometime after it past the moon.
“No need to tell your enemy your plans. Just get rid of them and don’t drag it out,” Goku said to the empty space where Sleet had just been a moment earlier.
“Master!” Sleet’s primary henchwoman, Myne, cried out hysterically, reaching a hand to where her boss had been destroyed.
“Keep her alive,” Goku ordered the group, pointing at the redheaded alien. “We don’t need the rest.”
The other saiyans quickly took action, wiping out the mob of Sleet’s minions. Caulifla chopped Myne in the neck and she collapsed, her wailing cutting out instantly.
Goku couldn’t help feeling down as he looked out at the fleeing thugs that were quickly being eradicated. They weren’t a threat to him or any of the saiyans. That said, he had just had his normal kindness thrust into his face as the reason why so many people have lost their lives to the actions of tyrants such as Frieza. And it wasn’t just him; while many of his former enemies had gone on to become friends with him, there were also many that hadn’t.
Doctor Gero, Cell, Evil Buu, Ginyu, Bibidee, those weird tentacle twins that he had taken care of several times a few decades ago until they died in an accident. Many of them had been completely unrepentant and beyond redeeming. And letting them escape had led to the deaths and enslavement of thousands, if not millions, of people later on. It weighed down on a good person’s soul to think that those deaths might have been prevented if only he had acted sooner.
For the first time in a long time, Goku felt tired. Down to his soul, tired.
He shook his head and dropped the SSB transformation, reverting to his base state. He just watched for the few moments that it took the others to wipe out all of Sleet’s thugs. He kept the unconscious minion at his feet to make sure that she didn’t get up and make a fuss, but she didn’t wake up, so it was almost unnecessary.
Ultimately, he could understand what everyone was telling him, but he didn’t like killing as a first resort. Having to use it instead of trying to redeem people was against his nature, but he had it shoved in his face for more than two centuries now that it was sometimes the only reasonable option. And here, Sleet had shown that he was not going to change and needed to die.
He shook his head, pushing away the depressing thoughts as he looked down at the unconscious woman on the floor next to him. He might have gone one way in taking out so many evil people in one go, but they had saved one person who had a unique skill. That alone was something he could see as a positive, if they could get her to change her ways.
Finally, the others regrouped on him grinning at each other for a job well done. Gotel was bumping shoulders with Vegeta Junior as they argued who had got the most kills. Goten snorted in amusement at the competitiveness of the younger pair.
“You’re both wrong!” Caulifla declared boldly, putting her hands on her hips and thrusting her chest out… in Goku’s direction. He couldn’t help but noticing that her low-cut top was torn up and straining to hold her, rather bouncy, chest in. “I was the one that had the most kills! I got more than the rest of you all together!”
The other three all booed her, rejecting her claim loudly. Despite his previous heavy thoughts, Goku couldn’t help smiling at their enthusiasm. It was nice to see that people were able to take pleasure in a fight. It was something inherent to being a saiyan, and all five of their group loved a good fight, Goku included.
Caulifla looked down at the last living minion from Sleet’s army. “So, husband-to-be of mine,” she said loudly, drawing choked off laughter from the other three, “why did you choose to keep this one alive?” she tilted her head and squinted slightly. “I can see that she is somewhat attractive. You aren’t planning on keeping her as a concubine, are you?”
Goku gaped at the Universe 6 saiyan as the other three burst into loud raucous laughter. Sure, he could objectively see that the light purple skinned, white-haired alien woman was attractive. She had a beautiful face when it wasn’t twisted in a sneer, and she had a very pleasant, feminine figure that was also toned from plenty of training, but he wasn’t the sort of man that cared about that as much as how the woman carried herself and if she was a fighter of sorts. Chi Chi had been a real fighter, even after she stopped competing in tournaments. Caulifla was a fighter. He didn’t know anything about this new woman.
“I suppose that I could support that,” Caulifla went on, a tiny smirk playing on the edge of her lips letting them all know that it was a joke. “But you would have to know that you are both my concubine. If you ask nicely, I might let you have a turn.”
Goku’s face went red at the mental image that brought to his mind, his eyes glazing over slightly as he stared into space, while Goten, Gotel and Trunks Junior collapsed against each other, howling in laughter at the lone female’s comments.
A quick smack to the back of the head brought him out of his daydream and he rubbed the back of his head sheepishly.
“None of that for now, husband-to-be,” Caulifla grinned at him as she leaned into his personal space. “For now, we should take her back and you can interrogate her to find out more about her techniques and any information she had about Sleet’s network and business.”
Goku put the thoughts that Caulifla had been putting into his head out of his mind, for now, as he nodded at her plan. He threw the unconscious body of the alien woman over his shoulder, like a bag of rice, and put his fingers to his head, looking for his target. Once the other four members of his party were in contact with him, he teleported out with a flash of instant transmission.

Great chapter! I really enjoyed it. It nice that the date went well. And it's good that he took that guy out before he could do things as he did seem like the type to keep trying and hurt other people in the process. It's probably good he took control of omega as he can do enough damage to stop people there easily and the threat will likely keep mercenaries in line. I'd love if they go after ilium as I hated the way they allow slavery but just lable it differently and then there defense is that there's a contract and rules to "protect" them

Great chapter, one thing I noticed though. When Goku was thinking of his past enemies, you put Bibidi instead of Babadi, Bibidi was killed LONG before the saiyans even existed. I think, I just know it was long before Goku was born.
