As Princess Arianne is Prince Doran's second child, she and her husband, Prince Daemon, have few prospects of their of own and so set out to carve out their own kingdom. After laying waste to the Dothraki, they are approached by emissaries from Patrimony of Hyrkoon. The warrior women believe that Daemon is their hero king reborn and seek to pledge themselves to him, to be used however he sees fit. Both Daemon and Arianne accept their offer immediately.
