Beck through time β¨
🕑 Added 2023-11-17 00:12:11 +0000 UTCHere are all the drawings I've been commissioned so far featuring Beck, from the oldest to the most recent! He's a DnD OC that belongs to one of my first commissioners! π
The first one was the first time I draw this character, I think it has aged pretty well! I still love how the whole scene works and the rendering is *chef kiss*~
The second, I do love it but I would change some things. For example, his profile and hair looks kinda weird to me, I think I could do way better now! Also, the texture I used for the carpet looks a bit off, I think I would also change that if I could, maybe replacing it with a proper rug, something classy and embroidered... like a tapestry or a persian rug.
For the third one, I think I would pay special attention to the lighting and the rendering of the shadows, it looks kind of flat now that I take a better look at it.
The fourth has a special place in my heart. This illustration was made for a mouse pad (the ones with the boobs) and Shelby actually sent me one that I still use to this day! It's a bit worn out but it was a great gift π I also attached a picture of it! Excuse the poor quality of the picture lmao
I looove the fifth one! The only thing I would change about this one is the blanket. I think I would chose a more fitting design for it, maybe something more... fairy tale-y? Hahaha! Also, I would correct Beck's facial expression, it also looks kind of weird xD
Now, the sixth... This has to be one of my favorites (ToT)/~~~ I love everything about it! 100000000000/10. Wouln't change a thing. Perfection.
The seventh was a design for a body pillow or dakimakura. It's so sexy, I don't know what to say... I wouldn't change anything about it either :') The rendering is so clean, I'm really proud of it π
And the last one would be the commission I finished yesterday! The one I posted earlier (ｑο½₯βο½₯)οΎοΎ
I didn't realize how many times I've actually drawn this character, it's amazing, hahaha!

Thank you!! Yeah, that's exactly how I feel! It's like getting to know a person better each time I draw him :D And I'm glad my observations may useful for any artists that might be interested π

The mouse pad is sending me πIt's really interesting to see the relationship you build with Beck. Your first drawing of him seems almost "shy" ? I don't know how to say it but like it feels like two strangers meeting for the first time ? You don't know what to expect of each other so you walk on eggs but then we discover your next drawing of him, then the next and the next...And it's like witnessing your relationship grow in front of us ? It's a strange feeling but in a good way hahaha And I love the way you talk and describe your drawings, it helps unpracticed eyes to see what you see! Your progress as an artist are noticeable β€οΈ (who am I kidding all Beck drawing here are wonderful!)
