Harry's Inferno Chapter 5

As he tries to find a way to soothe wounded egos and salvage what appears to be a team concept dead on arrival, he suggests checking out a fire at a nearby lab, leading to an investigation of a far greater scope than they realized.

In many ways the best change from the original storyline is that Batgirl was there to provide additional information and insights. Not that I'm unhappy our main characters are there and certainly their presence changed how everything worked: extra wild cards in a situation like this are a good thing. Prediction for next chapter: the Cadmus group insist it's all just a silly misunderstanding with only the absolute best of intentions and agree not to press charges against our young heroes in exchange for the League ignoring the whole thing and (perhaps) sending Galatea back for further education. Or they'll toss Dr. Desmond at the League's feet as a sacrifice since the rest of Cadmus obviously are shocked - Shocked! - something like this was going on. Cross their hearts. (Ignore the crossed fingers behind their backs.) In the latter scenario I don't give Desmond high odds of surviving the chapter.

What an exciting first mission!! Loved it! And the smut at the start was so good

Another exciting chapter! First incredible smut between Harry and Starfire always love to see that especially since you are teasing Barbara or Batgirl joining in the fun soon. Next, the sidekicks get the first non official mission and managed to discover a biological clone of Supergirl which as Harry said would either be her sister or her daughter given she was cloned from her DNA. Hopefully Galatea will end up becoming a good guy now that Superman is around to undo the brainwashing from the evil scientists. Looking forward to what happens next in the story.
