First of all it was The Roseanne Barr show, then Roseanne, the reboot is The Conners. Second of all put some respect on the show Roseanne, it was one of the first shows to have an openly gay character that was treated normally, treated race relations as a “why does it matter?” Type of conversation, had a midwestern middle class family who represented the working class, had a mother as the main character who wasn’t afraid to say bad words or discipline her children when needed, had an episode relating to masturbation and how its normal, AND it was funny as hell and relatable and had the perfect representation of a strong father role model in John Goodman Dan Conner. Yes Roseanne Barr said something awful and deserved repercussions for that, but don’t put down one of the most progressive shows from the late 80s because the woman did something horrible 40 years later
