You guys should check out All Tomorrows: A Billion Year Chronicle of the Myriad Species and Mixed Fortunes of Man by C.M. Kosemen. It’s a history of humanities evolution after encountering a vastly superior species that gets Big Mad and decides to spend the next billion years playing genetic engineering with humans. Genuinely one of the most upsetting pieces of alien related fiction I’ve ever read.

Re: Matt around 19 mins in- I worked in college radio and idk how widespread this is but they would let us say or play anything as long as it didn't say either fuck, shit or bitch and all other swears were fair play. So at least for us we could not say bitch on the radio
